Any Reason to wait on buying a PS3 right Now?

Just curious looking to buy one to replace my 60GB fat that passed away! 2 Concerns price cut or new security features, should those make me wait a little longer. Keep in mind i also do have a 80GB FAT but this is a family gaming house Thanks

well i dont think there will be a price cut soon, anytime its a good time to get a ps3. there are awesome games coming like uncharted 3, deus ex, crysis 2 and others right now like dead space 2, mass effect2.

about security i think you are talking about hacked ps3 and that. even if they manage to totally hack the ps3, when that has stopped a console from being succesfull, think about the ps2 and the 360, the ppl still buy them and a lot of ppl play offline and online.

I would guess the next price cut would be to $250 and would probably be around xmas. I don't see PS3 dropping to $200 anytime soon. Maybe when the PS4 comes out then the PS3 would drop to $200. There are some great deals on PS3 around black friday if you can wait that long. I remember seeing Amazon having buy $299.99 PS3 and get $100 credit but there are also many other deals that include 3 games.

Unless you're in a super hurry...i'd just wait until the holiday's roll around again. I always only buy my electronics during the holidays. There will be some awesome deals on the PS3, especially bundles. For a while they were offering a $100 gift card at Amazon when buying a new PS3. Wait for something like that, if you're patient.

There's a Move bundle sale for $349.99. If you already have dual shocks and such it's a good investment.

The games that are coming out thsi year just for PS3, yeah i would say now would be a better time to get it then later, but that's just if you really want the system

Did you copy your Demon's Souls saves?? And the only thing I can think of is E3 coming in 3 months, they might announce something then, but the Killzone 3 bundle is also a good value if you don't already own the game. dk00111
