Any tips for MW2 Online for PS3

Okay gues I'm uderly terrible at MW2 and I need some help my best today was 20-10 I just started playing yesterday I know there will be people better than me but you don't have to brag just help me instead. I do know most of the maps well because I watch a lot of youtube MW2 commentaries I was just wondering what I should be using Perks, Weapons, Death Streaks, how to play in general? Thank you guys in advance :)

Do whatever. The game doesn't really take much if any skill. Just play for about a week or so and you'll be owning. Just don't go to the "dark side" and camp. That ruins the game for everyone.SilverChimera

Random grenades and camping. People won't think you're a jerk at all :P

Just use whatever you're comfortable with. It also depends on what game mode you're playing as well. Personally, for free for all, I like doing a run and gun sniper character. I use the Barrett with an ACOG scope, sleight of hand, stopping power pro, and commando pro. My secondary weapon in the pp2000 with a holographic sight, throwing knives and stun grenades. For search and destroy I generally use the UMP with sleight of hand, stopping power and ninja along with semtex, flash bangs and the spaz.

One Man Army pro- Danger Close pro- Any thrid perk here. Pick any assult weapon you like with noob tubes and find the high ground. It tends to work, got me 7 of the 10 nukes needed so far, so give it a shot. Camping works...Bling w/ silencer and heartbeat sensor...Bling 1887's...All of these work.

I'd say the best tip is to experiment. Try a lot of different class setups and watch your map. Think calmly and don't just act like and idiot and rush at people. But you will probably die constantly at the beggining so just practice and you'll start getting better.

It's really annoying when you're the one being killed, of course.

People only complain about campers because they need something to blame, if not their lack of 'skill.' Running over and over into a camper's spot just to try and kill him is like letting him punch you repeatedly in the face. Why do people do that?

If you go to that area of the map, he kills you and you see on the kill cam that he's camping, then don't go there anymore.

I'm not talking to you personally, Chimera, I'm just saying people need to use some common sense before they start whining.

These are what I usually have when i play:

Killstreak:

Predator Guided missile

Harrier Airstike (In Demolition or whatever that Capture thingy is, This is very usefull since you can bomb where they are when they are trying to capture a place and defend it with the harrier) I usually camp till it gets 2 kills so I can use the Pave Low

Pave Low - imo the best killstreak next to nuke.

I got 19-1 today with this :)

For Weapons I use:

WA2000 with ACOE + HeartBeat, Ranger akimo or whatever with FMJ, Perks: Bling, HardLine, Sitrep.

M16 acoe + gernade laucher/Uzi Red dot + rapid fire, and same perks as WA2000

Commando, no question lolz, the fun I have on Favela...

A great way to start racking up kills is M16 + stopping power, although it's a bit cheap.

Camp. Using an FAMAS or M16, actually any Assault Rifle has pretty much no recoil. Use Scavenger, Stopping Power and Commando Pro along with claymores. Your killstreaks should be Predator Missile, Harrier Strike, and Chopper Gunner. Camp until you get the Predator Missile then it's easy pickings. If this is not your play style I suggest another game.anime_gamer007

What I suggest you do is use cold blooded, bling, and ninja or commando... any 3rd perk actually. Use a silencer and only fire when you know you have the shot or can get a kill. Use Frags and Stun Grenades.

Dude if u want to get better, find your own groove. Based on the information these other guys are giving you, you are sure to play even worst. One guy is correct. If you know someone is camping, and you see it on your kill cam, STOP GOING TO THAT SPOT GENIUS. And campers are cheap, just like the marathon, quickfeet, commando perk, with tactical knife.

Yeah, I get jerked on the knife alot...lol But trust me, the best way to catch your groove is to just play. What is your PSN tag? Ill invite you to a few games to help you out.

Just try and be accurate, then you'll get kills

I think Tar-21 is the best AR for close to medium ranges. If you move a lot and don't stay in one spot picking enemies in the distance then use it with stopping power. It owns pretty much anyone that gets in your way. Also if you're new to the CoD series and your aiming isn't the best I think you should stay away from 3-round burst weapons like Famas or M-16. And of course FAL which shoots one round per trigger. These ARs are pretty powerful but you need to aim well. Also when you level up use Ninja as ur 3rd perk.Once it's pro enemies won't see you on HB sensor and won't hear your footsteps. If you consider that lots of ppl use headsets and sensors it helps a lot.

Just never attack, let them come to you.

You could call it camping, but if you change positions you're sure to confuse them!
