Any word at all on how long PSN wil be out?

I know there are a crap load of topics about PSN but I have not really kept up with all the news.

Have they said anything at all about when it might be back online? I pick up Socom and the thing goes out...that's just annoying.

They have stated that some of the services could be back up and running by next tuesday.

They also said that they wouldn't turn on anything until they were sure everything is secure. So, there's no telling.

And... be prepared for this thread to be locked. Mods here seem to think that weeding through a 1000+ post thread is better than having multiple threads about the same topic....

Next week from my understanding of things (so far) or when Sony thinks the new security standards are ready for showtime....take your pick (of answers).

Yeah the mods here are really annoying. Why does it matter if there's a lot of threads about the same thing? It's a forum. I don't want to read through 60+ pages to find what I'm looking for.

Some services will be back until May 3rd according to IGN.

I would really love to see it back up by Tuesday, I'm wanting to give Outland a try!!!

From what I heard, PSN could be back up and running on May 3. I sure hope that's the case. My husband's copy of MAG came in the mail today and he's PISSED that he can't play it because it's an online heavy game. He understands why he can't play but he's still a little upset.

As an Xbox 360 owner and player, I want to say this: We are ALL gamers, and regardless of what platform we play on, we need to remember that this could happen to anyone. I'm tired of many of my fellow Xbox players trashing PSN. My heart goes out to you guys for not being able to play your games online. Hope this gets resolved soon.
