Any1 unimpressed with Lair???

The game's been getting lackluster reviews. Too bad, I have been awaiting this game for about a year:(-Sniper99-

Sorry but unless you guys have played it, you have no clue how good the game is. A bad review from EGM shouldnt warrant tons and tons of posts about how Lair is a huge letdown. Lets play the game before we judge it.bunchofpixels

Agreed, Lair doesn't look all that great, gonna flop IMO... but Im still gonna give it a try, you will hear my final verdict until then ladies and gentlemen.

I think that Lair probably got way too much hype and won't live up to the original lofty expectations. However, with the EGM review the game might become under-hyped. That being said I am definitely going to rent it before I buy it.avenmagi

Just so you know that egm used the excuse that lair was looking like a lotr game to down a point on it... Wth is wrong with them? Lotr is great but I am not sure about lair. We have to wait till it gets more reviews on its officialy delayed release date...

Yeah lair is looking like a big let down to me.

Whn i first saw it i thought it looked good, but the more i see of it the more im starting to think its actually going to be medicore and not much fun to play.

First off the graphics are lovely but we know that means nothing if it aint got gameplay to match.

The controls look clumsy, action looks poor the dragons were being taken out by just bumping into them nd even then it didnt look like he actually hit the other dragon.

Enviroments look the same ive seen several previews on several different levels and all of them looked so simialr, open water and a brifge full of humans.

Im sure a demo was supposed to have been out by now but it seems somebody does not want us to try before we buy, lair went from a must buy to i may rent game.

Not to bothered i own both 360 and ps3 and theres a massive amount of games i want to buy so one less doesnt bother me and plus i was more excited for heavenly sword and uncharted.

Well, I just reserved my copy today at Gamestop, and I cannot wait to get this game. It was playing on a kiosk in the store, and it absolutely looks gorgeous. Some of the best, if not THE BEST graphics that I have seen on a console game this generation....no question about it.

I have been amped for this game ever since they announced it, and regardless of what it scores, I know that I am going to love this epic as hell, beautiful game. It would not be the first time that I disagreed with the "experts" either....I can tell you that much.

Yeah i agree but we not completly reviewing the game, we are posting our opinions on what we have seen so far.

EGM's review never put me off watching things like on the spot tonight put me off and now im thinking that egm maybe right and i will have to rent it to see for myself but im so sketchy about it from what ive seen and heard i dont think forking out £40 is worth it when theres plenty of other games i have tried which are playing very well like heavenly sword.

If lemmings hate it then i will have to hate it too.

If lemmings are indifferent then well you know what i mean...i might be able to like it then...but I cant say for sure until others decide for me....i'll get back to you.
