I've had my PSP for about two and a half years. Its a great device, but whilst the amount and quality of games made the PS1 an PS2 so successful, the sheer lack of decent games for the PSP has made me decide to get a DS. Anybody else fed up with their PSP?

Uh, no, not really :|. I am really enjoying my PSP, especially now with the latest firmware update adding the PS Store. As for the lack of games, that doesn't bother me much because it gives me time to go back and catch up on all the older games I have missed, like Metal Slug Anthology, N+, and Ace Combat.

I may sound silly here, but I always thought portable gaming devices were designed for gaming on the go. If you sit in your room all day playing your PSP, you are bound to run out of things to play fairly fast.

I havent really enjoyed the quality of handheld games since we left the GBA, but I'd say the PSP is the lesser of two evils right now.

Not me. There are loads of games I still need to play and each psp game is always good to beat more then once. I beat The Force Unleashed 8 times in 2 moths. Just an example.

I recently got my psp. I really got it because I've been waiting for Nintendo to come out with some more ds games. i.e. chrono trigger port, dragon warrior...

But right now I find that Untold Legends and Castlevania: dracula x chronicles keeps me entertained while I wait for the holiday season.

so basically the only bad thing about a psp is that you gotta know whats good or not...what are you playing on yours anyway? also, I forgot to mention that a psp is a very good movie and music player. so maybe you should add some media to your psp.

I have both, love both. Don't get rid of one for the other, you'll regret it when the next big game comes out... or the next old one is found. For example, I'm cleaning up my "Ace Combat" saves to all "S" and I'm playing "Field Commander" and can't put it down.

Can't say I can agree with you. I think the console could use more FPS and third-person action games, but besides that I am happy with the quality and quantitiy of titles.

i agree... I've owned a PSP since it first came out, and i'm still playing Tekken 5DR. I'm still waiting for a game that I can stick with. For some reason, I got bored quickly with God of War COO, Crisis Core, and Patapon, nothing seems to stick. Hopefully the PSP will come out with something worth sticking with soon

I bought my PSP in April 2006, along with Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition. I have around 20 games and there are quite some among them I keep coming back to: The both GTA's, Socom FTB / FTB2, Tekken. I use the PSP daily as MP3 player when I get to work. I use the PSP for reading newslines in the morning when having my first coffee, sometimes I don't play for 2 or 3 weeks, but I keep coming back when I want to lay down lazy in bed..... - no, PSP is a necessary thing in my life!

I think it is true to say that there doesn't appear to be much in the pipeline but like some of the other posters in this thread I am still catching up with some of my older titles. Still trying to complete Hot Shots Golf 2 and Flatout: Head On.

Would be nice to hear about some forthcoming titles though!
