I never fully got into the KZ2 multiplayer, I did like it back in the day but never stuck at it, since the annoucement of KZ3 though I decided to go back and forgot how good it really is. All the different game modes that switch on the fly is great. sometimes I wouldnt mind if matches were shorter though.

uh yeah that's how it usually is for most games..

you relase a awesome new game and then people go scramble back to play the previous games..

people have yet to learn that you can't ditch your old games, just because something new is on the market.. >_>

same with deus ex 3.. the trailer was relseased or teaser

and there's a mad dash to play deus ex 1 and insivisible war.. kinda sad for those that havne't played the first deus ex

and I for one have yet to play kz2 :\

The community is still pretty strong, but having unlocked everything online it feels kind of empty, and a little bit boring.

seems like the community is pretty good at the moment, it seems like numbers have picked up a bit lately and the community that developed seems pretty friendly and team oriented

I've been playing it a bit lately but other newer games have been consuming most of my gaming time.

No. But if i was really excited for KZ3, I can definitely see how that excitement would translate into me wanting to play KZ2.

Nice, I remember playing...back in oct I think it was...only one page of servers and about ten of them were 20+. So it's nice to see the game is getting a resurgence, I think the patching and unpatching of the turrets and character physics really annoyed people who were trying to just get better.

That's nice to hear, when you say friendly are you referring to mics? Cause if people have started micing more, I might have to borrow the game off a friend...damn I miss kz....

OMG the multi in this game is nuts. It requires so much skill and practice. There was a time when I was dominating (then went and played with high levels and got my @$$ handed to me :P) and almost always got first. It is hard to pick up again without playing it a lot. I like it, but I really think KZ3 is going to blow it away in every aspect.

The online community is very newbie friendly. The first game I played, I was taking people down like nobody's business. I didn't feel like I was a complete newb, even though I was. You can jump in and start having some real fun, fast. I really like the online multi-player.

That would be the ranking system kicking in, putting you in more newb friendly matches....:D do some ranking.

Suprisingly there are still quite a few people playing, it's as hectic as ever. Killzone 3 should be amazing. :)

I am new to online gaming but i can garauntee you i have alota FPS experience.I have been on Killzone 2 multiplayer for about 4 days now and its really good, personally i prefer it over MW2 which got boring after i prestiged it.I play with the bigboyz tho(Unranked) and they do kill me but i get my way around em with using the team based system and ability merit system and i just ranked up to the Tactician level so add me if you need to cause i sure do need buddies to play with.

PSN add is down there
