Apart from the fact that you've not been able to play online -_-

Like money stolen or anything like that?

Affected is such a broad term. I haven't had financial repercussions *crosses fingers* , but I did have to go through the trouble of cancelling my card, getting a new one, putting watches on my profile via equifax and transunion, had to change all my passwords, update automated bills due to new card...so yes I have been affected annoyingly :)

No, I never use credit/debit cards for purchases on PSN. I stick with PSN/Xbox Live cards.

Yes. I have next to no friends, no girlfriend (never have and probably never will), I am extremely depressed and my xbox is broken. At least netflix is working.

Nope, sure they got my address and my phone number and probably my age but what can they do? Everyone in Scotland has a phone book and now so do the hackers, no big deal as anyone pretty much anywhere can get a phonebook with probably half the people on this forum in it, infact i believe there are downloadable versions which can contain every person in America's address anyway so send me pizzas all you want hackers i'll just buy and eat them :)

No. I had my info on PSN but no money has been taken and well, they did get my password but that doesn't really help them THAT much since I have different passwords for different accounts. The password they got doesn't really lead to anything heavy. They could get my Gamespot account byt yeah... That's not very big.

Never had anything bad come from it so far. And yes, I've used my card on there for years. Didn't they officially state they confirmed nothing was stolen from anyone on PSN anyway? (Other than that one MMO they have undeer SOE having problems.)

I had my debit card and personal information stored on my PSN account but I have yet to see any unauthorized transactions nor have I gotten any strange calls or emails.

Actually they confirmed that all all personal info except cc numbers for now were stolen from every single one of the 77 milllion accounts.

Exactly, this kind of information is easy to get a hold of without having to hack PSN.

You from Scotland aswel are you? :)

Got a source saying so? Because I really lost track of stuff with all the rumors lately. Last I saw relevant to this was just that they confirmed PSN users were okay. Then a few days later they said people playing MMOs like EverQuest, and that DC game and such got all their personal info stolen, because SOE was a different section as far as how they handled things.

No, although I've had a couple of different password change e-mails from different sites (including Steam), which may or may not have anything to do with it. It was mostly just annoying as hell to change every goddamn password I have, as I couldn't remember what tier password I used for PSN.

Nothing financial, because I never use my CC for either PSN or Live.

However the email account that I use with PSN used to get maybe 2-3 junk emails a day. That's increased to around 40 a day in the last week and a half. Although I can't say for a fact it was from PSN, but that's the only place I use that email.

Yeah. I tied that. Didn't work. I dropped out of highschool 'cause I was tired of getting beat up all the time and I thought college would be better but college sucks too. I'm okay with it though. I just need my video games back so I don't die of boredom and/or loneliness.

Yeah, I didn't get a temp card from my bank, which is a big national institution. I just had to cut some checks to cash this week instead of using the debit card. It was kinda frustrating in that I got a pin, a survey call, another envelope with the information about the account, before I actually got the card a few days later. Ended up being almost a week from the time of cancellation until I had a usable card in my hand.

Nope, not at all. I can't play online at my house ever anyway (crappy internet), my password for PSN is the only different one, I have no credit card, and I have a fake address on PSN. The only thing I can do normally is message to PSN friends, sign in, download from the store, and sync trophies.

Umm... that sucks :/ Why don't you go to conventions around where you live? I've gone to ones around me and met very nice women who are into videogames too :P

Well, about 5 days ago I couldn't login to my Hotmail account. Caps was off, n' the whole nine yards. I used the same password for years for my Hotmail.

Lucky for me I remembered my security question. It could be just a coincidence though. The password for that and PSN were not exactly the same, but similar enough. I know I know, bad mistake, but lesson learned.

No, because the hackings happened BEFORE I got a PS3. I just got a PS3 a few days ago.
