Seriously. Give us something. A 30 second trailer of Kratos face just aint cuttin it after so many months. Does anyone know anything about this game? Im sure it picks up from the last and the fall of Mt. Olympus is imminent. But I wanna know more. Gimme some story elements. New characters and weapons. Anyone got any news or rumors? A release date perhaps. Ive been looking forward to this game since I reached the dramatic conclusion to the last one. At the same time I respect the developers for keepin it on the hush. Nothing sours a games release more than being over hyped and in your face everyday til it comes out. Im just getting antsy to swing the blades of chaos again I guess.
Yea I recently picked up and beat gow2 cuz of gow3 comin out. I really want more news as well. I also want to see how or if the game will use sisaxis. white_jaguar
YES. a sixaxis function would be a welcome addition. but on what? a new projectile weapon? a beast u comandeer or destroy? the way you solve a puzzle? hopefully all of those. i wish the PS3 would incorporate more of the sixaxis into its titles. but that another thread all together...
gow 2 was big and awesome, and it was just a ps2 game. with blueray gow3 will probably be an even longer game + sweet graphics. can't wait. it won't disappoint.

Onimusha was a great game. I loved it. But they dont compare. Yes you collect orbs/souls to upgrade your weapons and whatnot. But thats derrivative of so many games that we could sit here and split hairs all day. I respect that you did not care for God of War. But dont go comparing feudal japanese zombie slashing to forming an alliance with the titans in order to take down the gods. Not to mention how much more free roaming GoW was. Like i stated before i loved the Onimusha series (cept the one with jean reno and the fighting one) but with GoW the story, score, and overall feel of the game just did so much more for me. Yes, i would be hyped to see Samonuske on the shelf at the local game retailer but not as much as I am waiting to see how the next story unfold for the legendary ghost of Sparta.

I thought GoW is very linear. Not much to do. Just kill all the enemies in the area then move to the next. Pretty much like that the whole game.
and your comparing that to Onimusha? where you spent most of the game trapped in hallways hacking your way through whatever to get to the end of the level. if you want to compare something. compare the fighting engines of both games and tell me who wins that one. they both had great puzzles imo. i guess it was just a better story for me. like i said i like both games. i just think one has more pros than another.
dont hold your breath.. this is a 2010 release. Sony only made that trailer for E3 so they had a 'big punch' in their presentation... production is still in very very early stage. Heard this from the who presented the trailer at E3.
this gen sony likes to torture their buyers by releasing info on game 3/4 years before release.

I hope GoW III is simalar to Uncharted in terms of changing the camera because the camera in Gow is more up top and stuff, I hope GoW has a next gen camera system and great bosses and enemies and new skills and stuff. I am so starved for GoW III news, I just let my friend borrow Gow II and GoW and I just remembered how great the games are lol :D
