Looking at all the videos of it, Im less and less impressed by it every day, mayber becauze it went mult- platform and doesnt feel next gen for some reason or maybe Im just getting tired of GTA. I think I will wait and compare it to theGetaway. early demose and a short CG got my attention and it might just be a getter game, Plus, its a ps3 exclusive
Look its a game I want to get but i am not excited about it. Its just another game I will pick up play it and forget about it. Frankly I am more excited about what take two new game franchise for the ps3 is gonna be.
I love how when you kill that lawyer in the 45 minute demo, he says video games are to blame or whatever lol. I immediatly thought of Jack(@$$) Thompson.
Special edition preordered, I've even made an advanced order of red bull so 20 cans arrive the same day as the game so I can truly make the most out of the first experience
Excited no, but that doesn't mean i won't be buying and playing this game. Its just that similarily to theHalo series (which everyone also seems to love) the GTA series is not doing anything to evolve past the sameGTA offerings available onlast gens hardware, I say this and I loved San Andreas in my mind it was one of the best games from last gen but iwas also unable to playIII and Vice City, don't ask me why. Also when i look at the upcominggames coming out on the PS3 its very easy to have GTA IV get lost in the middle of the pack.Could also be all my excitment is being used in anticipation of UT3 and Uncharted not to mention MGS4 but thats barely worth mentioning since it wont be out for a long time.
Am I the only one who wasn't completely blown away by the PS2 GTA games?
They were alright, but they were so crippled on the PS2 hardware. Now that we'll have a PS3 version, I am very interested in giving the series a second chance. I do wish that they had built this game with the PS3 hardware in mind, all PS3 GTA fans will always wonder "What if the game was designed to exploit the potential benefits of Blu-Ray?"
God I hope your not saying that GTA games are receycled. Because their are so many more games that are receycled even more. Halo(FPS games)same damn game everytime but with new weapons, new vechicles, and new maps. Madden(sports games)same damn game every year except you have updated team(wow 5 new player), updated grahics(barley), and a new mode(if you lucky). Virtua Fighter(fighting games)same game but with some new charaters(that are actually different), some new moves, and some new areas. Gran Turismo(racing games)same game but with new cars, new tracks, and new customizable stuff. Then you have GTA IV. Let's see an entire new city(yes I know it is Liberty City but in the future)that is fully interactive, writing a story for a completly different character, an entirly new different mission structure, and more more but I can't tell you about those since I havent played it and Rockstar is always tightliped about information.
