Anyone else give up on gta4??

Did anyone else get bored with it and not end up finishing it?

I was 50% thru, and then went back to COD4, now waiting for MGS4 in the mail :D

Am I alone in thinking it was overhyped and boring??

I got bored with it after i killed Playboy X. Haven't touched it since. And probably will never now that i have MGS4.KittenNipples

Hows the online of mgs4, if you dont mind me asking :), i was about to cop it today, but my friend didnt pay up, im waiting til my parents come back from mia, and thatll be tomorrow :D

No the game is really good, i just love driving in it and the physics when you kill people. Did some vigilante missions last night, yes i have MGS4 and its not as good IMO.

Loved the game, played through twice to enjoy it even more but now i barely play because theres nothin to keep me on it like the older ones i mean it doesnt have proper taxi missions or vigilante or firetruck etc, the pigeons i cba with stuff like that. I go on it when i just wanna blow some stuff up and shoot people for fun. BUT i still think GTA4 is one awesome game the story was brill!

yeah, i'm about halfway through. i'll do it eventually, but the missions are sooo repetitive, i feel as though i've already played them all. it just changes the scene of the transport/shootout/kidnapping/etc.

i was playing cod4 for a while but now i'm playing mgs and it's awesome

It can be hard in parts, but its very fun, I am not anywhere near done myself. When I die on a mission I don't get all angry becuase I have to redo something, because the game is actually fun to play and controls beautifully.

And to those posters who say things like "I played it for an hour and got bored" thats not even really enough time for the game to get going, and its definitely not enough time to judge if you like something.
