Anyone else having problems getting Demon Souls?

I've been pumped for this game for a few months now so I got my pre-order for the Limited Edition at Gamecrazy. I was pretty much set to go on release day.

Come the sixth, I drive over to GC and ask the dude at the counter for my pre-order copy of the game and this is what I get:

"Yeah, um.... sorry dude. There was a snafu with the shipping and we only got 3 copies of the game....and we already sold them. Sorry man. BUT we are getting another shipment tomorrow so just give us a call in the afternoon before you head over and we should have your copy."

I was like ok this sucks but I can wait another day. So I call in the next day and I get pretty much the same response; they didn't get their supposed shipment. The guy said he'd put me on the wishlist so they could call me when Demons Souls got in.

It's now Friday and I still don't have my game :(

Anyone else having issues getting a hold of this game?

Complain to the District Manager of your Gamecrazy. Trust me

Haha, no I live in California.

Well it seems that from everyones responses that maybe I should go complain and get my money back. I've called every Gamestop in town and they all have copies :P

No problem here. Ordered my Deluxe Edition yesterday morning for $66.99 on Amazon, free shipping. Shipping date is the 13th. :) raven_squad

My deluxe has shipped today from play-asia (I have to import, im aussie)

I'd be so pissed if I pre-ordered a game and they sold it on me.

I recall ordering a game from a local store and they put rental stickers on my copy and put it on the shelf :( I lectured the manager, got my game and a discount, and they never screwed me over again.

Don't let people screw you over, if they sold your copy you should be getting an apology and a discount at the very least.
