Anyone else just plain bored of ps3?

dont get me wrong...i love it...ive got some of the top titles out there...COD4, Warhawk, Resistence, F1, Assassins Creed, ive beaten them all...cept warhawk of course...amazing games...but im not finding myself drawn in to these games like i had been on ps2....i mean there are great games...i love playing them...but i cant get into the like my old ps2 games...such as metal gear sold (all of them) the final fantasy games...i mean i got sucked in to those games...ive rented a ton of games too...skate uncharted folklore dirt almost everything thats out ive played...and none of these games draw me in....anybody else feeling this? i mean games on my ps2 i could sit and play for hours...never bored of them...on the ps3 tho im finding myself playing 20-40 mins tops and getting bored...anybody out there that can suggest a good game? ill try renting it because i have stopped buying ps3 games simply because im not getting into any of them...kinda sucks...i mean its a GREAT system im very happy with it....im just looking for something that can hold my attention for longer...i was big into COD4 for like 3 or 4 days...playing a couple hours a day....but then it just got boring...doing the same thing over and over...blowing up the object...capturing flags...i dunno the most fun game i have is F1...but that takes commitment and patience...1 mistake and ur race is over....and suggestions?

yea happens to most of us...lucky NEW PS3 games are on the way so i dont find a new habit/hobby lol

2 things:

a) It sounds to me like your waiting for the heavy hitters to get a thrill out of your system which is perfectly normal. :D And,

b) Your not getting your money's worth !! what happened to downloading pics and videos onto your system ?!?! What about online multiplayer ?!?! You don't know what your missing man !!!

When you play too many videogames, you canget bored of all of videogames altogether.This is life telling you that you need to be more productive and actually do something (like be more social). And no videogames are not social, regardless of online gameplay. 98% of people play against strangers online, and 99% of the time that stranger is a 12 yr old who swears, screams, and shouts rascist sexist and profane slurs. So no, there is no healthy conversation going on in the online videogame world. YOU NEED TO GET OUT MORE! For your own social and psychological health just get out more.

why do people on here assume that because they dont have a life that means i dont? uhhh yeah i go out all the time...the ps3 is something i do when im home and not doing laundry ect ect...just because u people dont have a life doesnt mean i dont...u just upset cuz i said i was bored with the ps3...how does being bored with a gaming system make me a shut in? u people are really stupid

u too...what makes u assume that im some sort of a shut in that just plays games all day? i work i have a live in girlfriend (everyone knows that takes up alot of ur time) even when i was heavy into games i played max 3 hours a day...like seriouslly...did i upset some of u by saying i was bored with it? does that hurt u because YOUR the one spending all day sitting in ur moms basement playing the ps3? all i said was i dont get sucked into the games as i used to so that some how makes me a shut in that has a problem and doesnt go out? Dude i wouldn't worry about it. I've only finished 2 games for my ps3 and i own 5. well i rented and beat HS but yeah so i i've beaten 3 games.

I found that as i got older i played less and less games and thats fine. I know for a fact that there will be games that suck me in. But probably it will never be the same as it used to be. Gaming used to be a bit of a life style now its more of a hobby that i do when I have time for it.
