Me andmy friend downloaded the demo on his Xbox 360 and we played it. I didn't enjoy it and didn't even bother downoloading it for my PS3. I didn't even want to give it a second chance.
When you tried it, did you understand all the unsual powers your characters had? I'm not sure what I would have thought of the demo if I hadn't watched that 5 minute intro video and explained and demonstrated all the powers, something I had no idea about downloading this game.
I mean, what's there to not like. Just like any shooter, but gory graphics, unique special team characters all with certain weapons and powers, ability to switch, explained by you actually being a ghost, cool motion camera gives realism to waling, sword slashing, getting knocked down or jumping up walls. And then crazy powers, never aimed a sniper round through 3 heads before. Sweet using the blood to freeze enemys and slash them down with the katana. And then those extra cool interactive scenes, that are just hard enough to where you might actually fail once or twice. And it was actually fun to lose to see the gruesome animation death, kind like how it was for Dragon's Lair.
If anyone says they were bored or didn't find it interesting and never played it again, without any more explaining, I will assume they just launched the game, just fired at gun, then quit before even learning the other 3 quarters of the game.

How come you did not like it on 360? What was wrong with it? I only try it on ps3 yesterday night and I enjoy it.
At first I thought it was a generic FPS and thought the other 2 teammate was just going to die anyway. Then I found out, I can easily control any one of them in first person view. I tries all 3 and each felt different due to the duel weapons they carry. Llike the ninja girl had the sword and great for close combat and can do a spell to hold the monsters. But lack the long range firepower. When I play the character will the SMG and sniper rifle. I liked it cause she got range and can do bullet-time. But wasn't good at close cause my gun runs out of ammo too often. The chaingun was good but inaccurate at long range. Each character was different. Then I play around and found the team command was easily. The controls are tight.Toward the end of the demo. I had to go solo to find the lock. Wow, that cutscene God of war fighting is a nice touch. It is still a FPS? yes but not generic. It is more like a tactical FPS cause your AI teammates are not dumb. They actually use the walls for cover. The only thing I notice is the developer have tweaked the AI teammates to fire their guns at a lower rate. I guess they did it so the AI would not get all the kills. Did not get the storyline cause the demo did not see to give much. But gameplay-wise, I like it. It stands out from the crowd of FPS.

The powers is like telekinetic or magic or something. Not sure what that is and how they got it. Before playing the demo, I thought the game was dumb. But after playing it, I like the gameplay and the controller. It works well. I still have a problem with the story. What is it? Is this a futuristic dungeons and dragons type of game. It the magic just technology. What is it?
I didnt like it. But I feel if I had played it on PC instead I may have appreciated the graphics and gameplay a bit more. Some games are just made to be played on pc, thats my opinion. Same goes for games such as CoD4. I most likely wont get it for PS3 unless my pc cannot handle it.
I think I am going to use the PS3 mostly for console exclusives.

Everything is explained in the introduction option in the demo menu? It's like a 8 minute video, going into detail of the story, origin, what happened, full intros for all the characters and shows each of their powers, explanation on how one team member dies early in the game, which is you, and now you are a ghost, and that's how you can control each person, and how the characters directly comment to you when you do, like "you are lucky you are dead" and such. It even mentions the Demo takes place around the middle of the game.
It's a long video, but essential to fully understanding the game to properly judge it when you start to play it.
Yeah, the first couple of seconds into the video I though, boy this is cheesy. I figure it was kind of rushed to make it into the demo, but I was glad it there.
If you want the most annoying narrator, call xbox customer service. They have a robot voice named Max, who sounds like a 30 year old trying to be your "cool" "hip" friend.
