Everyone has been talking about how amazing this game is going to be, but I found the demo to be pretty underwhelming. Between the graphics, choppy framerate, and general dated feel of the combat (can you say Fable anyone?), I honestly don't know if this game is going to be worth 60 bucks! It may be a big game, but that doesn't necessarily mean it will be good. Anyone else feel the same way?

well the demo is short and based off a four-month old build. im buying it because of the customization and combat mechanics.

I'm really worried that they are really rushing the game to try and get into that last little bit of the winter buying quarter. I have a feeling it will need a fair bit of polish once it is out through patches and such, but hey, today $60 or not, the public are usually the beta testers...

well they are def different types of games... but I one thing the IGN review in progress says is that KoA absolutely STOMPS KoA in terms of gameplay, and all I have to say is... yeah freaking right... same goes for Dark Souls

I don't see it that way. I think they're so similar that the comparison is warranted and Skyrim wins easily.

third person, button mashy combat against methodical FPS combat? Hardly the same thing in my opinion, but we both agree that Skyrim is the winner. At any rate, I certainly won't be picking up KoA right at launch.

Yeah, why does IGN list KoA as a First-Person RPG anyway? It's clearly Third-Person.
