Anyone else regret buying a PS3?

I find myself really wishing that I had bought an Xbox 360...

I try really hard to like my PS3, but the majority of good games on the PS3 are on the Xbox 360, and the exclusive for PS3 haven't really satisfied me.

Final Fantasy 13 is also going to Xbox 360, and MGS4 will probably end up there too...

Why has Sony failed us?

Well I'm mainly talking about people who own only one system or the other.

Wish I could afford all three.

I'm honestly thinking about selling my PS3 to buy an Xbox 360.

Uh, no. I love my PS3.

I love the games I have for it.

I love playing Blu Ray movies on it.

I love the controller. I love the XMB, and it's compatibility with my PSP.

I bought a 360 about 2 months ago, just to have every current system, i guess. To me, having a 360 AFTER having a PS3 is like buying a Fisher Price "My First Videogame System". It just looks and feels cheap. And the controller blows hard.

i had a 360 and i regret it ! then it made that 3 red rings of death ! i bought a ps3 and i am happy with it ! xbox 360 will never be better than ps3 !

I'm really happy with my PS3 , i might get an x-box but a lot of people i know who have an x-box have had to get it repaired, so i will most likely not get an x-box because im really happy with my Ps3

I own both and can honestly say that I'm currently playing much more on my PS3. For the past couple months I have only been on the 360 for Rock Band 2.

As things stand now, the PS3 exclusives are far better than the 360 exclusives. I'm looking forward to Gears of War 2 and Fable 2. But that doesn't compare to Socom, Resistance 2, Little Big Planet and Motorstorm.

The box is a solid console. But I'd feel left out without my PS3.

I haven't heard of as many problems with that RRoD has before. I think it was just with the first consoles, they've made better ones since then I'm sure.

The Xbox 360 is cheaper, and graphical quality is the same for the most part.

What exactly are you missing out on? Getting the RROD? Paying for online gaming? Having to replace your 360 every couple months (my friend is on his 6th!)? Having "exclusives" that could also be played on the PC? Intice me...

Yes because the PS3 was much more expensive, and the Xbox 360 came out first. I do regret being conned by Sony into buying a system that really has no major benefits over another system that's equal to it.

There will be an optional blu-ray player for Xbox 360.

Well then its down to what games you want, whats out and whats coming. You can't go wrong with either a ps3 or 360. Don't base your decision on people saying pay for online and rrod, because its unlikely that you'll wiitness it, and paying a yearly online fee really isn't a big deal. If i had none and had to pick one, i would probably go for 360, due to being cheaper, and having more games already out, but i'm sure people will disagree.

No way man, I mean there are good games on the 360, but there are just the same amount of of good games for the PS3. MGS4 and Resistance 1 and 2 just to name a few.

If MGS4 did go to 360 it would be utter **** compared to the PS3 version. No questions on that. I much prefer my PS3 to the 360, better exclusives in my head, and I can play 360 at my friends house anytime, or better yet buy the game for the PC almost all of the time.

I do occasionally get some remorse because as PS3 owners we do get ****** over alot, whether it be by Sony, or developers. Not very often though :P.

That's why I feel so bad about my purchase. I've played Halo 3, Gears of War, Lost Odyssey, Ninja Gaiden 2, all good games that I can't play on my PS3.

What gives?

I can't afford another system right now. The reason I held out for the PS3 was because of all the fond memories I had with the PS2. The PS3 doesn't feel the same at all. None of my friends want to game on the PS3, they all want to play Xbox 360.

I've played the PS3 exclusives, they're good, but they're not 'WOW!' good like I remember the PS2 games being.

The Xbox 360 exclusives were much better, and all my friends own Xbox 360's. But I can't be at their place playing their games all the time.

That is why it is good to own both, otherwise you'd miss out on MGS4, Heavenly Sword, Uncharted, Socom, Little Big Planet, Motorstorm 1 & 2, etc....
