Anyone else very bothered by some ratings KZ2 got from IGN?

8.0 for lasting appeal for Austra... that bites for such a great game, huh? But seriously, ONLY and 8.0? Call of Duty 4 got a 9.0 from IGN in that category, and it had a lackluster single player, with the online being the part that saved it. Same with Halo 3. Killzone 2 ARGUABLY has better online than both, but still maintains a great, varied 10 hour campaign that they gave its fair share of praise to. And how is it a mere 8.0 again considering that?

And then we look at its graphics rating from US. Now, 9.5 is a GREAT score, but IGN gave CoD4 a 10 in graphics! Not only that, but I really don't see the logic in having them knock off .5 points just because the flamethrower and revival ray thing looks comparatively bad. We're talking about probably the console graphics king, here...

Sometimes, I just don't understand IGN.

I don't get how they can completely test our the multiplayer if the game isn't out for another month and there is no one playing for htem to test with. Lasting appeal relates to quality of online, so that's how I explain the 8 for lasting appeal.mosespippy

Why is it so hard to accept that reviewers and gamers alike are all entitled to their opinion? If the guy feels like Killzone 2's lasting appeal is not worth more than 8 than so be it. Why would he give it more? To please people? Come on!QuebecSuperstar

ign favors x360. Not to mention overrating many games. I didnt see that ign rated kz2 a 8, but if thats true its just ridiculous. Since cod waw got a 9.0, i wont listen to a word ign says.expandingeye

I think they gave killzone 2 a specific score of 9.4 because halo3 got a 9.5; just so that fanboys can say OMG HALO3 BETTER BY .1!PureDante
