anyone else very excited by littlebigplanet?

Seriously, this game has the potential to be huge fun. Everything I have seen just makes me want to play it NOW! And combine this with online sharing and playing... god this could be the best thing ever!!!!thetruespin

I think that is a little short sighted. I mean, if what the developers are saying is true, it could be a huge amount of fun. with so many FPS and crapy "action games" doing the rounds, something like this is what we need.

Its true it does look like a waste. All you do is complete the levels. I like it because me and my friend can both make the maps at the same time.

I think the main focus of LBP is community play and sharing online... its like a giant sandbox (a term that is thrown around a lot nowadays but rarely ever fully achieved)

Up untill a few weeks ago i was pretty excited about this game. but the game doesnt look challenging, theres no story, about all i see is "creation" which wont last me very long. i guess its banjo kazooie nuts and bolts that made me worry LBP just wasnt what i wanted it to be.

go to game trailers search for the game, and watch some videos. you cant really explain what LBP is, you have to see it.

ever since i saw a clip of littlebigplanet on the playstation home video iv been hooked. its what the next gen of console games should be about. of course we need the tried and tested formats but recently gaming inovation has been slow. what % of the games released on the PS3 and 360 have been FPS/3rd person shooters.

devs should be looking at the PS3/360 and saying "this is somthing more powerful than we have ever worked with, lets see what its capable off".

unfortunatly people seem to be more impatient with games these days, i remember a good PS2 games used to be in development for 3-4 years before release. now companys are churning games more often but there is rarely any inovation because they dont get the time to develope the games like they used to.

look at GTA4 and MGS4 there looking like being 2 of the greatest games ever depending on who you listen to and these games were in development for about 4 years.

if we want great games we have to be patient, i think littlebigplanet is gonna be a great game and i cant wait to start building levels and trying out other peoples.

I think i heard that you can connect LPB with your PSP. If thats possible, im convinced to buy it XDIllegalGamer

it would be awesome if you could tranfer your sandbagman to your PS3 and he lived there and you could play mini versions of the levels when you wernt using him on the PS3.

bit like the pet you could have on one of the sonic games on the dreamcast you could store a pet thing on the memory card.
