Anyone else worried about Lairs controls after OTS?

I am. Especially that comment Jeff made about it being Joust with dragons. I know he probably meant it as a joke, but he sounded very serious.

honestly, no. from the looks of it, i can gather that the reason most of these reviewers have a hard time is because of "reaching the face buttons while tilting the sixaxis" (paraphrased from a review, cant remember which), which is apparently difficult for some people?? but like any other game, im sure that as time goes on, we will get the hang of it. it may have a slightly longer learning curve than most, but i still feel this game will be amazing

Lair is a Rogue Squadron game with a brown dragon coat of paint over it. From what gaming journalists have said so far the controls are not very agreeable either.

I mean it's just like with Motorstorm. PS3 fanboys are really riding on this game to be good, but you know it really isn't!jdogthebomb09

and in the end, its just a game. some people will love it, some people will like it, some people will hate it. i wonder which category you will fall under?

I dont really care what Jeff has to say about a game. Factor 5 has made some great flight games in the past, and Lair doesnt look to be any different. Maybe there is a big learning curve to the controls, maybe not.

So, will we be forced to play with the motion sensor in this game, because I'm too lazy to move more then my fingers when I play a game, I guess I blink also.

Lair and heavenly sword both look lame. Actually they look good, but thats about it. I found the demo to hs to be terrible, and lair just sounds dumb, dragons and crap...no thanks. Luckily i really like mlb the show, so it will probably take me forever to get through a 162 game season, plus I have a 360 to hold me over till something good comes out.

honestly watchin on the spot, the game looks like its gunna be crap. Apart from its visuals it doesnt look very good in my eyes.

I'm definitely worried about the controls. However I'm getting it at launch anyways(unless it's really horrible, >7.0) because honestly it's the most original game I've seen all year, and that defintely counts in my book. Plus amazing graphics:D

those reviews cannot be 100% accurate mainly because it wasnt ready for launch yet, and they have done mroe things to it.

How can anyone think the controls are bad after watching the On The Spot feature? He was clearly able to play the game, yes? He managed to go from air to ground to air with little difficulty, yes? So I'm wondering when the problems with the controls really start affecting the game experience? Sure he complained about the momentary jarring change from six-axis control to using the sticks when going from air to ground but once you're on the ground, it seemed like the play was flawless. Once you're in the air, it seems almost as good. So again...where is the problem?
