Anyone else worried about MGS4 going to 360?

If it happens, it means that most PS3 and 360 boards will be filled with topics about it.

Which means that we will be flooded by the exact same topics over and over and over again.

And the Bee's. They are suddenly dropping in numbers due to ballooning cell phone use, (it interfere's with their navigation). And should Bee's go extinct, all the crops they polinate (that we eat) and the animals that consume them (that we then eat too) would die. So if Bee's die, our civilization ends. I'm very serious, look it up. So yea, MGS4 going to the 360 doesn't seem so life shattering now huh?

Ive been reading in a lot of magazines and websites that it is very possible that MGS4 may be made for the X360, and that this will be announced at E3. honestly, this is getting me worried. if it was made for the 360, it would be a huge loss for Sony and the PS3, and yet again, another PS3 exclusive would go multiplatform, just like DMC4 did. what are your thoughts?biggamerhk

Furthermore, the game cannot be put on 360, it's too large of a file size. Kojima has used 48 gb of space already for the game and he will probably use more. Do you realize that 48 gb is equal to more than 5 xbox 360 dvds? Shaqneel

my initial thought too. although i do remember older Final Fantasy games being spread over several disks, that was more about storing all those FMV's as oppose to the game being to big for the disk. the amount of disk space needed for the game (although we have to assume that a chunk of that will be used for all those cutscenes...) would be impractical for 360 disks. you would need about five disks or some serious cutbacks, something i dont get the impression kojima would be willing to do.

World Peace - hehe. Hey, I'd be all for the Star Trek sort of society, but I think it's more wishful thinking than anything to me :). And as for MGS4, why are you so worried? If anything it'll be PS3 exclusive for months during the porting time to 360. Really though I seriously doubt you'll ever see it on the 360.

Because some people think that would be the end of the ps3, which anybody with half of a brain knows is not true. If it does happen then so be it. The ps3 has some awsome new exclusives to look forward too.

Why is it a bad thing if it goes multi plat? If you played MGS 2 for xbox, you would see that the game is more of a pain to play than it is fun

Besides even if it does happen you are still going to play on the PS3, and it won't happen.

If anything it will prolly be like a year port, since the game will be built from the ground up on the ps3, there is just no way it can be easilly ported over unless it is downgraded. Just look at Uncharted Drakes Fortune, these are pictures using 30% of what Naughty Dog has been only able to use with the ps3.

If that aint impressive, then I dont no what is. This game is still in development and they also said it still will look better then what we see now. So if Naughty Dog can pull this off, I can just imagine what Kojima has in store for us ps3 owners, when he shows off the next trailer in a different environment. I cant wait for this game and I wouldnt be worried about it being ported over because xbox 360 owners will prolly not see this game until around 2009, because Kojima doesnt wanna dissappoint his fans of the series so he needs to focus on one console and that will be the ps3.

It wil be a great loss for the PS3 if the game isn't exclusive, most people will stop buying the ps3 and go for the x360. Secondly, I don't think we need to worry about that, because of the fact that the game ( according to Kojima ) will be exclusive for the PS3.

It's not coming to the 360... It's a 360 fanboy Hype/hope. Kojima has stated that it's not for the 360 (home theather style) it's for the ps3 (Theather Style). Don't worry about it. Next 360 fans will say ff13 is for the 360. Omg they do say that.

Jokes aside, its not going to happen, and even if it does happen, and hell freezes over, then my friend who keeps dissing MGS (and owns a 360) can buy it and see for himself how wrong he was about it.

As for your question, im not worried at all, not even a little bit... i thought i would be. But i am worried about the Bee thing, poor little guys, im turning off my mobile as i type... :'(
