I picked it up yesterday, we had friends over (bout 8 ) and at first no one wanted to get on the mic however, as the time passed everyone was loving the game and wanting to get more songs from the Sing Star Store. Its definitely a party game and if you have the PS Eye (which I do ) it does add more fun to the singing because it takes clips during the performance and also snap shots so you can actually get really creative.....
The gamespot review said it was kind of shallow. They should have incorporated online competetive singing. Also they might have wanted to put more songs in there.
There is a huge selection on the Singstore for downloads though. I'd have to spend like $30 getting all the songs I want off that list.
i dont think online singing would work too well..yet. i wouldnt really wanna hear smeone else playy maybe like if it was friends only thing but i def dont wanna hear some random guy singing around the world cause then ud get those dicks whod come online and just not sing the song and be like "fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuckkk uuuu" kinda thingg
I picked it up last week with the two mics at GS for 59.99. It's a blast, the song selection it comes with is good, but not many songs, think 36. It is fun playing and worth the money as you can add more songs later online. There are around 200 songs that can be downloaded at the current time. It is hilarious watching others on there that have posted their performances in the online community, chewbaca is hilarious. Get it and have some fun!
