anyone have their ps3 connected wirelessly? help please!

Im trying to connect my ps3 wirelessly now. I go to network settings, clicked easy and did everything automatic, but when I check the connection it says obtain IP address: failed. anyone know what I should do? any help is appreciated!

Try unplugging everything... modem, router, ps3. Wait for about a minute, and then plug everything back starting with the modem, then router, then ps3. Go through the easy setup again. If it doesn't work this time, you may have to input the info manually. It took me a few times of powering everything down to get mine going.

When that happened to me i had to reset my router and then redid the automatic connect on the PS3. If that doesnt work see if you can manually enter you IP Adress.

go to system settings>>>>system info then jot down your ip adress. enter it manualy when attempting to set up wirelessly. like most others i would recomend using a cable if possible though. you will get better results

I have a wireless conection on my ps3. check the settings of your Internet then your wireless router and match it up to your PS3. your best bet will be to ask help from your local ISP. Cheers!
