Funny you ask this question. im a big shooter fan, but the cod games there not doing anything for me anymore so i decided to invest in mag a few days ago. Ive spent several hours on it and to me it seems a bit dead, ive seen people chat to me on there saying no one hardly plays it anymore, ill still play it occasionally i paid little for it, so its not hurt me financially, but im investing in god of war 3 tommorow, seen the reviews very excited :)

Not entirely true - You can download an 8 level-capped demo if you are a PSN+ Member. And the game still stinks on ice. Every ten days, another topic asking if anyone still plays...
Ya it's alive I play it but good luck! Your get furstated very quick :( I did. I found you can upgrade your health and thought thats really unfair for starters!
The game was recently updated (we're talking about a HUGE update here, folks), and is now better than ever, I highly recommend it for those with a little patience. :)
I just bought a ps3 2 weeks ago and picked up mag. It seems active enough on most modes there is 2 modes that seem to always be dead. I haven't waited more than 3 minutes to get into a match. So fa Im loving it and will probably be playing this until battlefield 3.
Got it when it became a greatest hits title. Tried to get used to the awkward controls and didn't find it as fun as I had hoped. Eventually went back to MW2 on the 360 when I wanted to play a shooter.
