Absolutely...hell...I'm playing PS2 games still. Replaying God of War 2 right now actually.
Nothing wrong with revisiting "older" games. Just cause a game is new doesn't mean it is better.
I guess by your standards the only new games I play are Killzone 2 and Burn Zombie Burn, I have LBP and all the others are older than that.
Damn, Fallout 3, LBP old???? When they become old?old games like in the line of let's say.. uncharted, assassin's, resistance1, fallout3, mgs4, gta4, lbp, deadspace, grid,... etc..? unlike recent games like killzone2, re5, street f4,..etc.

just got folklore and im enjoying itkarsa-orlongFirst post, huh. Mine went to trolling, but i guess to each their own.
yeah i still play warhawk. still as fun as it was at the beginning and tons of people are still playing it. also i'll occasionally play ratchet and clank from time to time.
The console itself is barely 2 1/2, right? How can anything be "old" yet? I'm admittedly old, PS1 is old, Ps2 is, well, sorta old, if I haven't played a game it's new to me!
But, yeah, I kinda understand what your'e saying, I'm exclusively playing GTA4 right now, about 2/3 through my first playthrough. I'm always late to the party:(.

I have uncharted, A.C, Resistance, F3 *on 360*, mgs4, gta4, lbp, and dead space...Along with the etc most likely.
I still play every single one til this day. A good game is a good game and thats that. Well except for gta4, I stopped playing a month or two after I got it and now put it in once every other blue moon aka hardly ever.
Playing DQ VIII with my daughter. Yeah, you heard me :)Caduceus06
Loud & clear. Coolest post of the day!!
I am currently enjoying Orange Box.
well, if GTA 4 counts then yes! sometimes I play a bit of challenge mode on Ratchet and Clank TOD if i just want to relax, or Saints Row 2 for some stupid fun.
I haven't bought a new game since RE5, but mostly I've been catching up on ps2 games I never got the chance to play years ago. ATM I'm playing Max Payne to prepare for MP3. And I'm planning on buying God of War 1 and 2 before GOW3 is ready :D

Due to my being WAY behind on playing the games I've actually bought...yes, I am still playing old games. I've beaten Uncharted twice and I'm halfway through a third playthrough attempting to get the platinum trophy. But I played it so much I took a break and haven't gone back to it yet. I still will though before Uncharted 2 comes out.
I was about halfway through GTA4 when the trophy patch came out, so I started over but haven't touched the game since then. I thought I'd start it right away, but other games came out that distracted me, like mGS4, LBP and Dead Space. I've beaten LBP, but want all the trophies. So I still have to collect ALL the prize bubbles and make some levels.
I rented Deadspace originally and got halfway through it, and only recently did I buy it. AWesome game, but again, now I have three or four games to play but no time.
I also have Killzone 2, but due to the backlog I've literally only played it for a couple hours since it launched.
And the main reason I have no time (aside from life in general)...is because I've been playing Fallout 3 non-stop since it came out. I was 35 hours in when the trophy patch came out, so I started over. PLayed another 35-40 hours or so and beat the game getting most of the trophies. Now I'm playing it a third time trying to get the couple remaining trophies that are left (evel/neutral levels). I am pleased to say I am now at level 17 and the end is in sight. I look forward to getting back to those other games, which should suck us much less time than Fallout has, but at the same time it will be odd being done with a game that has sucked up so much of my time.
I just recently finished Ratchet & Clank and UT3 (single player) because I had run out of new games and never got around to finishing them before. I can't believe I had R&C sitting around for so long without finishing it bc it is such an amazing game. I still play Warhawk every now and then. I think I am going to go back to Oblivion since Fallout3 never satisfied my rpg bug
