Anyone hyped for alpha protocol at all?

is thereanyone hyped for alpha protocol at all? I am. this game looks good and it is made by obsidian, a developer in bioware;s shoes .Actually obsidian isoriginatedfrom black isle .

anyway how come noone is hyped about this game. while the graphics seem kinda ok the whole package seems tobe very very promising. tactical espionage RPG with lot's of real time dialogue that affects the outcome? i 'll take it!!!! this may be another mass effect game , only this this time is laso on ps3!

what do you think?

I haven't done much research on the game, so I'm not really interested in it right now. I'll keep an eye out for it though.

I'm definitely intrigued. I'm hoping for the best, but I've got a strong feeling it will be underwhelming.

I think it'll be good, but too unpolished to be great. Basically the story of every Obsidian game.

I was a little bit excited for it at one time, but then the release date came and went without a word from the developer or publisher. I dunno, got plenty of other games to play right now. If it turns out to be good, maybe I'll pick it up someday when the price goes way down.

I don't see the resemblence to Mass Effect. So it's a third person shooter with dialogue, how does that make it a Mass Effect clone?

It's looking okay though, the potential is there.

pre-ordered it when I saw the first trailers, but I hoped it will be a nice Stealth-RPG-hybrid, but it looks more like a Stalth game with RPG elements now (less RPG elements than I hoped :S). I'll still try it ^^

It looks little underwhelming on visual side, not that I am graphics nut or anything but there are certain standards I enjoy. From the interviews I read and saw it does have potential to be something good. I need more info, possible a demo or rent before I decide if its worth the purchase for me.

i have been looking at it but i think the latest gameplay videos have left people disappointed so im trying to keep my hopes reserved. The concept is very interesting and i hope it does well because they have certainly had a lot of time fix it with all the delays

I'm interested in it, but unfortunately I have too many unfinished games at this point. I have to play through a few more before I'll be able to buy any more.

I'm not super hyped but somewhat excited. I'm pretty sure I'll get it when it comes out. Let's hope the release date they said won't be pushed back again, even though it's set to come out pretty soon.

I have actually preordered this game 3 times since last year, and cancelled just because i was always getting many games till now. I cannot see it being a bad game as long as the shooting or stealth is not too generic or broken, or focused in a specific type of gameplay. My worry is that if they are saying "espionage-RPG" i expect to be able to go through the game my preferable way, but the "espionage" alreadyestablishes some limitations for the missions, right?

I'll probably get it eventually but it comes out only a week after Red Dead Redemption according to Amazon. I'll be sinking a ton of time into RDR and will wait for a price drop on Alpha Protocol.

I'm pretty interested in this game, the trailer looks awesome.

I really hope this game turns out awesome but by the looks of it the game is a "rent only" title. There is no way that this game is going to be better than Red Dead so I'm going to stick with the game that I know is going to be a blast. Might have to pick this one up down the line if it gets good reviews.
