So I have some hd video files that I'ld love to watch using my ps3, but they are mkv files which aren't compatable. Anyone any free video convertor programs that will make them avi or mpeg 4? Pretty sure I used to have one that worked fine, don't remember what it was though.
I have Xilisoft Video Converter Ultimate, its awesome however i did have to pay for it but it converts into literally everything for any playform you can think of.
the single best video converter for PS3 is PS3 Video9, search for "Red Kawa" on Google, and you should find it, i have yet to find a format it can't convert, AVI, WMV, MPG, MPG2, MKV, OGG, RP, QT... it does it all.. and its free.
