I wonder does anyone here knows where I can get a 60 GB PS3 from, even a used one? I finally have enough money saved up for one so that I can replace my old-model PS2. The 80 GB doesn't have the Emotion Engine chip inside, which means that I'll have to download the PS2 games through software emulation to play them; much like the X-Box 360's Backwards Compability(& that'sinferior compared toHardware Emulation). Plus the 40 GB PS3 is nothing more than the old 20 GB PS3, but much worse. Unlike the 20 GB which also has the Emotion Engine chip like the 60 GB does, the 40 GB won't allow me to play any PS2 games on it at all! I would really appreciate your matter on this one, as the 60 GB model is the best PS3 model that SCEA has put out by far. Thanks!

you can't find the 60 GB anywhere. I've looked in several stores and none have any 60 GB's. Its mostly 40GB's and 80GB's now.

Check craigslist. That's where I found mine at and that was only a month ago.

I went to EB games on the advice of a friend and asked if they had any 60 GBs left (at that time, they had like 2...). Some stores still have them from previous orders before they stopped being shipped, check all EB games in your area, because getting the 60 GB is worth it (haven't played yet though, 17 days till christmas)!

I got the best deal at the time through vanns.com

but i believe bunkabunka has the best current deal (new) or there'sa couplefor 5 bills that's reconditioned just above it.

I just found one today at FYE. I don't care for the store but it's the one place you can find rare items. So I ran in and bought it. Pure luck. Plus I got a $100 dollar rebate with it too :)
