Anyone looking forward to FW 3.00?

So with 2.40 now out, and seeing sony's apparent failure in the "in-game music" department...

Anyone getting real tired of waiting for this.. we were supposed to have this crap at launch... i have a feeling it won't be here for a long time to come... unless all the devs start implementing it.. which why would they... i mean they pay to create game soundtracks so why would they just let you listen to anything?!

I can understand that it will take a little time for the in game music from ps3 exclusives and such but I still don't get why they cant get the achievements from the ps3/360 games and put them up now?

Except a slew of new features. I know its not all that we had hoped, but its still heads and tails above any other update we've had yet...

Almost two years later and it's not here! :cry: I only have one set of speakers on my TV and the sound sucks on the TV so I can't listen to music. omg, people are ungrateful these days, sony gives you something you've been asking for and what do you do... complain? sheesh. And the in-game music is there, but is game specific... it's like that for now since M$ holds a patent on playing the music in a background during a game (I don't know the specifics, it was in a news article on GS). Sony will figure out a loophole somehow, but be grateful we get somethingclsnbrdr616

Because Canada got like a total of 7 ps3's at launch.. plus i live in a small town.. so ebay was my only option for launch... i still think it was worth it though... 1g at launch was a pretty dam good deal on ebay actually.

Yes we have been promised the updates long ago and Xbox already had achievments from start, but the PS3 is a Bluray-player with HD- movies HD- sound HD- gaming and HD- everything. And it's the only one in the market to be good at everything.Its not just a gaming console but an entertainment system, so just wait for the updates, they'll come when they'll come.

well you all talk about how you been waiting years and all this other crap the fact of the matter is who really NEEDS in game music anyway? you should Be happy with the game's score and if not then get a MP3 player if everybody keeps whining about this than the Dev's might stop trying to even get good music in their games if you just going to play you own music anyway
