I do, works just fine, the graphics just doesn´t seem nearly as good as if you´re playing in an hdtv one.......the fun´s still all there though
^^ As topic ^^ I just want to know anyine plays their PS3 with old crappy CRT TV. I know people can play xbox 360 with CRT TV but I never see with PS3 before.Kleeyook
I have my old sony RPTV in my room and i use the PS3 with it...in my TV's case once the 1080i resolution is detected the tv goes in a kind o "widescreen" mode..but it looks really sharp...
I was gaming with my PS3 when i first got it on my old Philips 27" SD CRT tv and it was just great although i recommend getting component cables if your tv supports it, and even currently I have a CRT tv although its HD and 16:9 format. Its not as good as some LCD screens but it got me into the HD gaming world. Playing games in widescreen make a great difference as well.Prince_DenspionI have the same TV and today I'll be upgrading to a 22 inch computer monitor(size isn't a problem since my room is small).
The only problem I had with playing on a CRT before I upgraded, was reading the text in some games. Small text is not your friend when playin on a CRTChoco_TacoYep you can't see a thing. I had troubles when I first played MGS4. You can't see what you pick up! (as far as ammo and other pickups are concerned). Games are still a blast to play. I've tried it on my friend's 42" Full HD and I can't wait to have mine (well probably not 42 Full HD because I can't afford it but probably around 26-32 HD, maybe 1080p if there are some available)
