I was just curious, the first time i accidentally put the UMD in the other way, so the square end rested on top of the rounded mold instead of fitting in it, which is what i think was where the pressure was mainly when i tried to close it and heard a funny tinfoily plastic sound.

Anyone else make this mistake at first and hear that sound and know where it came from? and if so was it a non-damagin noise? I think everything's ok but i just wanted to make sure where that sound was coming from and know nothing got dinged up (i think the mold might not even be solid plastic and that was it and it just reformed back to its original shape after).

Argh UMD's make funny noises when in the PSP Slim. When I'm playing a game and it starts to load it makes a ZZZZZZ noise that worries me lol.

Hey, if it still works properly I wouldn't worry about it, just be more careful.

wait ok so you've done it then, so do you know the sound i'm talking about when you try and close it? I'm pretty sure it's the pressure between the incorreclty inserted square end and the rounded mold, i just want to make sure i didnt crush the mold or anything or thats not as flimsy as that tinfoily sound make it out to be.
