anyone scared of catching a virus online?? i mean once it has a virus 700$ right down the drain im pretty sure u can catch a virus by doing multiplayer right?? i mean i think about it but i cant do multiplayer cuz i cant establish connection under the catagory friends oh well i have another forum bout dat but no one answered yet i hope they do soon cuz i wanna do multiplayer but thats besides the point so wat u guys think bout the viruses.

WHats with you and blackouts? has it happened to you or are you just trying to deter people?
at anytime someone could make one besides ur on the internet viruses can still effect it. rob_07
I dont think you understand how viruses work. Viruses you get from the internet have to be downloaded on to the computer in order to effect it. And since the vast majority of viruses are designed to effect Windows, they will not effect the PS3.
Although the chances are slim, I still wont look at porn on my PS3. Thats what my computer is for (and they are both in my room) "High five!"BackFlip101

What are you talking about mine was shutoff during an installation and it was fine i just had to re-download and install it again.

A) I don't browse much with the browser B) Moderators will probably look at games and see if anyone's sending unknow traffic through the network C) My router will probably block most viruses :-)
