Anyone still interested in PS2 releases?

This would obviously fit more into the PS2 forums, except that my interest lies amongst those who've already made the nextgen jump from PS2 to PS3.......

Which, if any, PS2 releases are you still looking forward to?

Personally, I'm still looking forward to the following:

1. Arcana Heart (2D fighter by ATLUS along the lines of GuiltyGear)
2. Mana Khemia (NipponIchi's fourth installment in the Atelier Iris rpg set)
3. Boroque (ATLUS rpg)
4. Silent Hill Origins
5. Metal Gear Solid 3-pack (just to get the copy of the original)

Living in Europe, I'm looking forward to Persona 3 and Odin SphereBenderUnit22

good stuff! I didn't realize that neither of those had made it to release in Europe yet. I own them both and like them very much. Hope you enjoy them!

Me too. It's been too long since I played a Twisted Metal game and for 20 bucks you really can't go wrong.

I also interested in the Metal Gear Solid 3-pack and a ton of older games I never got around to playing.

Not interested so much in upcoming releases, but I still do play older titles on my PS3 like Dynasty Warriors 4 (until DW6 just came out last week), GTA: San Andreas, GOW and GOW2, MGS 3, The Warriors, and Tomb Raider. Just because I've jumped to next-gen, doesn't mean I still don't enjoy the old favorites!

I don't personally consider the PS2 the past yet, LOL.

Mostly older releases right now since I've mostly played the Xbox this generation and the last. I'm interested in some of the repackaged sets of some of the hit PS2 series. I recently picked up the Devil May Cry greatist hits set after deciding to give the series another try. I'm enjoying it a lot more this time around. I may do the same for the MGS set coming out in March.

There's a ton of other older PS2 games out there to check out besides those, too.

since i saw the graphics on the PS3. the ps2 might as well be a ps1. there is no going backflinknasty

Oh please, the PS3 isnt that visually impressive. I mean, it has some good looking games, but they dont make every PS2 title look like trash. Wait another 4 years, then talk.

There are many of us still playing PS2 aswell, or lucky enough to have bought a 60gb PS3. LOL, but let me guess, you're one of the unfortunate folks with a 40gb?

And I agree with those looking forward to the MGS collection pack, it will be great to play through those again prior to MGS4.

I'm waiting for Metal Gear Solid: The Essential Collection.
