Hey, i just wanted to see if people are still playing Oblivion or not nowadays, because i haven't seen any Oblivion topic here in like ages, probably because the game is old now.. but hey i just wanted to ask :), so do you still play Oblivion or not?
I beat the hell out of this game on Xbox 360, but I threw in the PS3 GOTY Edition recently and burned away a week or two with it. Like Billy Dee Williams would say, "Works every time." Still one of the best games this generation.
good to see people playing Oblivion but what do you honestly think about the game is it good or bad and how much would you rate it from 1 to 10?, P.S (i do have the game!).
Yes I still play it and since I have the GOTY edtion I been playing since last year,and I give it a 9.8 just because its so much fun and the quests are very good.But once GTA4 comes out next week that will take up most of my time really and then in two months MGS4 come out which is my most wanted games this year...;)
I have only owned it for maybe 2 months or so now but i have'nt stopped playing it yet, except for a few days, playing throuhg uncharted 3 times, then straight back to oblivion and still at it!
i have been playing it as much as i can since december(busy at university) and so far i probably am about 100 hours into the game, ive just finished all of the guilds and am 3/4 the way through the daedric shrines. the next things to do are finish the main quest, KotN, and shivering isles funny though its taken me over 4 months to get this far.
I was playing it just last night... 70 hours in on this character and I've completed the main quest, guilds, etc and I'm only now about to head over to The Shivering Isles.
I just got the game about 2 weeks ago and I'm loving it so far. I haven't even scratched the surface yet though, the only major quest line i've made any progres in is the fighter's guild and I'm only around 1/4 of the way through that :P.
I played thruogh it as a sneak, mage , knight, archer and now Im using an orc with only my fists. I love this game it's a 9.8 I wish they were making V instead of Fallout 3 but im sure that will be awesome too. Not as good as Oblivion though.
I'm still playing this (trying to close all the oblivion gates before moving on with main quest), but I'm having a little break while I play FFXII and Ico. Also got R&C to play and of course I'll have GTAIV as of Tuesday. Still, it's nice to have a variety of games to work through.
Funny this topic should come up because I was just wondering if I should just pick up the goty edition when I go to get gta 4 monday night. I rented it before but pretty much let my lil brother play an I didn't even touch it, my friend who had it on pc kinda made me sick of it before I even played. Now I'm giving it some serious thought though because I'm a major rpg fan. Yet it just seems so much like an fps game with story from what I can see an I'm not the big fps fan alot of people seem to be these days. I'm more of a Xenogears, Legend of Legaia, FFVIII, Suikoden II kind of guy ya know.

Sounds like me. I got it roughly around christmas, logged in about 100 or so hours, and barely tapped the main quest. I've been trying to master every guild, complete a majority of the side quests, etc etc.
Yes, of course. Its the game of this generation that i keep going back to, its indeed my fav game still of this gen.

same here. Not long I went into a town and destroyed it. I had never tried it before but it was fun. Though a little difficlt.
The funny thing is when you have 10 gaurds chasing you and you are running for your life, then people from all the guilds start to help you and the guards are overwhelmed.
