Hello, I've been thinking about purchasing the Splitfish FragFX V2 (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/FragFX+-+Splitfish+Gameware+-+FragFX+v.2+Controller+for+PlayStation+3/9337112.p?id=1218097985512&skuId=9337112&st=splitfish&cp=1&lp=2), and I was wondering if anyone has tried it here? If so, is it any good? I was looking at some of the reviews, and a few people reported that the mouse was a bit laggy, but most reviews were positive. I've heard you can assign rapid fire, is this true? If I buy it, I will use it for MW2. Thanks.
why do you keep wanting to buy these controllers that give you an advantage? the FragFX is the ultimate noob cheating device. also, i heard they have horrible build quality and break easily.
FragFX V2 does not work with PS3 3.50 firmware, the mouse is dead and it cannot be reassigned using the controller as the X button does not work.
I think Splitfish have shot themselves in the foot with this one. The bad press alone should have been enough to light a fire under their ass and get them to release the corrective firmware.
Very very poor show Splitfish and Sony has dug their own grave!
got the Shark now, before I had the v2. The original v2 works still after Sony updates 3.5x. You may just get kicked out by the gameserver for the rapid fire, but if you keep it a a low rate, you'll be fine. Some say its cheating, you call to decide for that.
I only use splitfish controllers and they are analog just like the Dualshock. The rapid fireI have no need for so I have never worried about being banned. I have owned the V1, V2, Piranha and Pro/shark. They are not well made and I figure every 200 hours gameplay I need a new one. My review is on Google search first page or click the URL below...Despite what you read I highly recommend this controller.
