anyone want to suggest some bands for guitar hero 4?

if you don't know already, activision is planning on making guitar hero 4 the new rock-band, already releasing details on a drum kit, and possibly a mic, as well as unveiling details on improvements to the gameplay, this is all good, but means nothing without killer tracks, rock band had some groundbreaking features, but didnt include much that really pushed rhythm based gaming to a new level, that's where you come in, guitar hero 4 has the potential of killing off rock band, but it will need to perform in the song department first, pendulum would be fantastic with the drum kit, and dragonforce would be fantastic for some 2 player duels, has anyone else got any bands or particular songs they would like to see in gh4??

Some Underoath, Breaking Benjamin, some of Linkin Park's old songs, maybe Seether, My Chemical Romance, Senses Fail, Hawthorne Heights, maybe Crossfade, Silverstein. Would acoustic songs work?

Ok, how about we do the exact opposite where we have some crazy 80's songs like stuff by Queensryche, Helloween, Dio, Van Halen, Ratt, Testament, Anthrax and stuff like that, and none of the bands you mentioned, that'll work for me.

Um, I dont know if any of you guys have noticed, but there already is a guitar hero 4, and their is A band chosen, and its aerosmith. Personally, I like aerosmith, but only the good stuff, like anything off the album rocks, before that, and maybe stuff off of permanent vacation. besides that, it is pure crap ( I dont wanna miss a thing) and an entire game based on them was probably not a good idea. But if you guys see this as more of an expansion ( like guitar hero rocks the 80's), than i hope the soundtrack for guitar hero four is much like the other games in the sense that it has a wide variety of music. And just so you all know, apart from DLC, a band has only ever had one song on the soundtrack, which is a good thing.gamepro345

not bein biased or anything but 90% of the people that has answered to this has terrible taste in music, senses fail? hawthorne heights? say anything...? they dont even have a guitar in half of their songs anyways. wat point is it to play that repetative garbage on guitar hero

i say they should mix it up with some 80's classics, some good hits from the 90's nirvana, soundgarden... a little bit of screamo atreyu, devil wears prada... , and throw in some baddd metal songs lamb of god, trivium, as i lay dying... , and maybe after if there is some room throw in some songs that people can cut their wrists to

Wow is the my second account? did i write this in my sleep? that is exactly what im talking about dude! well possibly with the exception of mcr...and if they do do (haha i said dodo) mcr do it from 3 cheers cuz black parade kinda sucks. anyways ur my hero NO EFFING OLD SONGS! the majority of ppl who play this like actual music and arnt 40+ years old...the only reason all those crappy bands got popular back then is because there wasnt as much to choose from back then and thats why they sold out so many concerts and stuff.
