Anyone worried about PS3`future? Don`t! We can safely focus on other themes inst

The only folks I feel sorry for must be the game makers who releases their games this fall. Have the competition been more fierce than this fall? This November/December must be a nightmare for the smaller developers, but for us consumers and PS3 owners(and Xbox 360 owners) things are looking good.

The only problem, and it is a luxury problem,is what game to buy, or more correctly, which GAMES, to buy. Uncharted(my favorite), CoD4, UT, Ratchet, Kane and Lynch(an other favorite) Half Life Orange(who cares if its delayed for the PS3? It will come eventually and there are a lot of other games coming out while we are waiting).

In the games departement I am not worried any more. I will get my games no matter what. To be totally honest, I can not even buy all the games I want either because the lack of time.

I want to end this subject with a question:

What do you want to see in/on the PS3 in the future(games not included):

Me I want the following;

1) A better web-browser(like a pc)

2)Sony MUST start the movie and music service from the PSN.

3)The ability to create play-lists

4) The ability to listen to music when playing games

5) The ability to get to XMB while playing games.

That`s it really. Other suggestions?

If this is becoming a thread with many suggestions, can anyone take it over to Sony and present the lists to them so they can hear our voice and start working...............

I know for sure they have mentioned XMB access at anytime which will include messaging and I know that they said they plan to release music and videos on PSN.

I agree with the web browser. It really sucks. Why have it if it is going to be that bad? I have faith that they are probably working on improving it.

I am sure 2008 will be great for the PS3, but we do not have to wait that long. 2007 will be more than good enough(for me) when it comes to the games. I realised that comparisons between PS3 and 360 will become less, and to be honest, it does not really matter that much if one version is a little better than the other unless a version is right out bad.

If Sony continues to make sure more games come out(and they will) and the topics I mentioned in my list get fixed, I think the PS3 deserves the caracteristic; supercomputer. Fine by me.

Ah; do not forget it is a Blu-ray player as well. It is not that important for me right now because I have not the equipment to fully epriciate it.....yet.

But; if anyone has the oppurtunity to bring the my hopes over to Sony, please do. Mr Kaz said Sony will start to listen to the PS3 consumers. REMEMBER THE ALA...THE RUMBLE...(which I personally do not miss at all)

All that plus:

1) The ability to bluetooth pictures and videos directly from a phone!

2) The ability to create customer folders in the XMB to better organise videos/music/pictures

There's probably more but those are the ones that first came to me.

I would like to see a new controller, and I am not talking about adding rumble. When are they going to update the 12 year old controller that squeaks and flexes when you move your hands around, or in opposite directions. feels so cheap. L2, R2 buttons are terrible. You cant even play a racing game for more than 20 minutes without your fingers going numb. Just copy the 360 controller and get it over with. PS3 is the best system though.

I agree that the analog sticks are kinda weak. They're more precise than the dualshock's but I prefer the 360's analog sticks and triggers although the new R2 and L2 are better. I wish they brought the boomy it was suppose to be ergonomic plus it was a new design. I don't think they should copy the 360's because the 360's copies the Dreamcast's controller.

well, after looking at the Fall release list i've decided to hold off upgrading my PC till the new year.

i don't know about anyone else but i have a monster game list this fall.

I'd like to see more content on the PSN store, though.More classic and downloadable games, more demos, etc. The web browser feature needs work.

Oh, just thought of a big grip of mine - lack of codec support! If Sony would implement codec support for xvid, divx, mkv etc. I would never switch off my PS3 again! I think that'll have to be one of my top wanted features that I want Sony to include!Laxe84

i for one would be more than happy to pay 5 bucks or more for codecs on PS3, they should work something out with divx were you could download the codec from the PS store for 5 bucks or something.
