are 2.5" external drive usb able?

will i be able to plug a 2.5" drvie via usb on a ps3 for it to see what is inside?

(with thee proper folder tree i suppose)

and anyone tried a 1gb drive?

wow, did you just turn usb into a verb?? thats great :P are you looking to plug a normal 2.5" drive into the ps3 or your ps3 drive into a computer??

You'll need to get an adaptor and I think it'll format it though.

This should explain it for you LINK note: if its just the plain drive, you may need to get a hard drive enclosure. something like THIS would work.

It shouldn't be a problem as long as your usb key is formatted in fat32 filesystem. The PS3 does not recognize NTFS

ok then , nice! i didn' think of that. so buy the drive then plug it in the ps3 then put things in it? ok!

yea as long as its fat32 it should work with an external closure.
