Are people excited Ratchet & Clank Future or...

Is it just forum fanbois trying to say "yeh look at these graphics it owns 360" lol? Cause most of these people couldn't of given a crap about the previous games and all of a sudden everyones clinging onto anything with good graphics.

Just a thought cause to me it actually looks really bad in terms of gameplay and no different to what i've done on the PS2.

Graphics are important to me - if they weren't I'd still be playing a PS1 because it had lots of games with good gameplay. Graphics make a huge difference to me in how immersive a game is.

However gameplay is equally important.

I am not usually a platformer fan unless it's ultra violent (aka. God of War series, Ninja Gaiden, etc...).

However for some reason Ratchet and Clank does look appealing to me this time around - but I will wait and see what people think of the actual gameplay before buying this one.

R&C is one of my favorite series so yeaim excited

personally i don't think the graphics look all that great though it definitely a step up from RFOM in my opinion. The latest vids do nothing to excite me for the game either.

I do have all the previous Ratchet games and im on the fence about this one simple because the last couple of ratchet just weren't as good.

however the fact that it doesn't have any multiplayer at all give me hope that the single player will be much better then the older ones.

again this is just my opinion and personal taste i feel the multiplayer they kind of put on at the end of the last ratchet games took time away from the single player making it not as good as it could have been.

so i am taking a wait and see approach. but to be honest the vids and pictures don't do anything to excite me the only thing thats got me interested is that its a Ratchet game and they have always at least been enjoyable for me (some more then others), and that there's no multiplayer this time around.

even though i played a couple of R&C games my hype isn't as big as other R&C fans. maybe its because i haven't kept up with every game in the series like other R&C fans.

the game definitely looks good though.

um oh god yes. I dont care about the graphics. It the gameplay of ratchet that is the best part seriously, if you haven't played the old ones, well you should. minus deadlocked (doesn't count, unlike the other 3).

I'll be the first to admit that I was biased against this game for the longest time. I love violent action games like God of War, Ninja Gaiden, and Devil May Cry. I like shooters and RPG's. Hadn't really played a platform game since Mario. But after hearing so many good things and being so impressed by Insomniac after playing Resistance, I decided I'd try out R&C. I found a copy of the original for $7.99 and by god, it might be the best 8 dollars I've ever spent!

This game looks kiddy and simple, but that's not a bad thing. It OOZES charm and personality. It is very polished and simply a wonderful all-round game. Shame on myself for discriminating! Will I buy this game on day one? Probably not since I have a pretty limited budget for games now that I am back in school. But will I eventually buy it? Absolutely! I recently bought Going Commando and need to beat that game and Up Your Arsenal before moving up to this one.

This game is definitely a keeper. It looks like a Pixar movie. If the reviews are high enough I might have to eat my words and just buy the game early. A 9.0 would not surprise me one bit.

Dude you need to buy the other 3 the first one is brilliant for sure. But the 3rd one in the series is the best by a mile. I'm sure you can pick the other 3 up for a similar price now.
