Are PS4 owners missing out on Titanfall??

Guys I am just curious if you all feel the PS4 community is getting cheated by not having Titanfall? There are a lot of FPS players on the PS4 and yes they have CoD Ghosts and BF4, but isn't Titanfall leaving a fairly huge gap in a PS4 FPS fans life?

Nope. Talk about your flash-in-the-pan games. That's exactly what it is and won't last. I also play games on PC and I have zero interest in it.

No, but I would love to have LocoCycle. I've spent some quality time with it on a friend's Xbox One, and it's a lot of fun.

I think missing out is a strong phrase to use...Titanfall is a first person shooter presenting something new to the industry is is unique in some ways and a quite good game but does ps4 miss out? no not even close...First of all Titanfall focuses on the MP and leaves SP completly out of discussion which is unnacceptable especially for a game with a full-cost,most gamers seek a good campaign and an interesting plot something that titanfall lacks and MP will seem like an endless loop sooner or later....Titanfall is definitely a very good game that offers unique expiriences and lots of fun but i dont regret for a second buying a ps4 over a XONE and i dont even consider buying an XONE with its current price to play titanfall,if my pc is good enough to run titanfall ill buy it otherwise i wont really care!

It's a really fun multiplayer shooter, but there are lots of those on the market anyway.

Nope and even though I am getting a XB1...TF isn't at the top of my list of games that I want! Especially since the sequel MIGHT not be exclusive.

No matter how much the BRAINWASHING hype says that's it's innovative, it's still just COD with mechs! Which ain't a bad thing because I'm one of the few people who will admit that I still play COD!

I'm not a big MP shooter player, but my friends who are playing this game say that it will be hard to go back to any other MP shooter after playing Titanfall. They are having a blast. So my opinion is, yes, us ps4 owners are missing out. If there is a great game on xbone that doesn't have a counterpart on ps4, then aren't we missing out? At least a little bit?

I have zero interest in Titan Fall even if it was on PS4. I don't think I am missing out on anything when it comes to it. My time will be spent with MLB '14, Child of Light and Watchdogs.

It boggles my mind that Microsoft completely abandoned single player campaign with this game. Was it too difficult to think of a storyline? Is there going to be a DLC storyline single player? I refuse to buy any game that only plays multiplayer. If Titanfall 2 comes out for the PS4 without single player campaign, I won't be buying that.

I'm a Sony guy precisely for the games that are the opposite of games like Halo and Titanfall. Not a real big FPS multiplayer fan. Gears interested me for a while but that too got real tired. Those PS4 only owners who have an interest in Titanfall need only have a bit of patience as it has already been declared that the next Titanfall will be on the PS4. You shouldn't let hype govern your enjoyment as there are plenty of games to play on the PS4.

I'm not too crazy about Titanfall, but according to rumors it Titanfall 2 will not be exclusive so I will probably give it a chance.

I'm more interested in Destiny, and I also have a beta key for it, so I'll be looking forward to that.

it's just a game, of course it would be better if it came out for ps4 as well, however it is not a deal breaker...

the game i am waiting for anxiously is destiny, i am a huge borderlands fan and it looks like an hybrid of borderlands, rage, and hopefully elite (wing commander's ancestor) as well...

I don't know. But titanfall is EXTREMELY fun. A lot funner then it looks on videos.Its basically Black ops 2 + Vanquish + Mech Assult on adderal. And This was a game that look lame and had 0 interest in just typed in the code because it came with the xbox and had no other game atm.

Mindless unrealistic fun. Most fun i had with a game since uncharted 2 and gears of war. Between this and killer instant, I can't say i want my ps4 back anytime soon.....

I also have a 360, but Titanfall doesn't seem that interesting to me. I wouldn't get it even if it was on PS4.

Titanfall is cool because of the tians + fps parkour-freerunning but when it comes to FPSs on the PS4 I still haven't put much time into the multiplayer of BF4 and KZSF--and I WANT to put more time into those games so I'm glad there's not another FPS tempting me to purchase and not play much mulitplayer on it cause I'm not a huge multiplayer person.

Titanfall is awesome, but I wouldn't say you're missing out. Buy it on PC..

As a PS4 owner, I'd LOVE to have a go at TF, but I'm not losing any sleep over it. I actually had that $399 TF/Xbone bundle in my cart on M$'s site, but the "special" disappeared in the few minutes that I was thinking over the purchase.

The game looks fun, and that's what I game for. End of story.

This isn't about Titanfall being exclusive. It's about Titanfall not being on the PS4.

Personally, I'm not missing out, but I'm sure there's a large number of PS3/PS4 users that would play the game if it were on both consoles, or at least just the PS4. I have no interest in MP only games, let alone barely any interest for MP focused games.

I can't fathom people who are buying both consoles for the few (and getting fewer) exclusives they're missing out on. That's just too much money for a second console that will share 85+% of the games, ya know? I am not trying to be a fanboy here but I have seen 0 games that would even make me want to try to justify an xbox purchase (360 or One). I'm much more tempted to purchase a new system from my childhood video-game system exclusive: Nintendo. But I can't justify a Wii U given that it's currently essentially being treated as an HD SNES.

@SoNin360: That's not really the point I was making. I was basically saying that if I wanted Titanfall, I would have it already even though I don't have an XBone. I was simultaneously reminding him that it is not a system seller, since it is a multiplat.

Just because it was all over the front page for an annoying length of time doesn't mean everybody is drooling over it. I would personally take a mediocre RPG, open world or survival horror game over an outstanding CoD clone.

All the exclusives (with the exception of maybe Halo) will be eventually released on PC. No need for X1.

I'll be honest, while Titanfall is a lot of fun, there is something about it that just seems like it is going to wear thin after a bit. I just don't feel that it has that same grip on me that CoD has always had. I can honestly say that an hour with Titanfall is plenty for me! Hopefully Respawn make Titanfall 2 not only more robust in everyway, but they take advantage of the PS4's capabilities! I guess we wont know until sometime in 2015!

Meh, I had og xbox and ps2, then i had 360 and ps3, now i have both ps4 and One. I'm not going to miss out on some great games because of fanboyism or 400 bucks. I can work an extra day on overtime to pay for it, which I did. If you want it, work for it and earn it. Have both and enjoy the whole generation ,not just part of it.

I would've really liked Titanfall to come out on PS4 as well cause the game looks like it's a lot of fun. All of my friends that got the XB1 have all been praising how great it is, I haven't had a chance to play it yet though. I hope the sequel comes out on PS4, I'm sure it will. As far as losing sleep over it? Haven't done that, once the XB1 has enough games I want to play I might get one if the price is right. I normally buy 2 consoles per gen, this gen I might stick with the PS4 exclusively...maybe.

Well it depends on gamer preferences, if you enjoy online multi-player then yes. A lot of people above have indicated no single player is a deal breaker, however in an FPS I only play multi-player. Did not touch MW3 (last COD I will play), BF bad company 2, BF3, or BF4 single player. The multi aspect gives me a lot of hours (more than most SP games) as you are always improving in game, so i do not feel as though i am missing out on the value scale, and I don't find SP that rewarding in an FPS / don't get invested like I would with a good RPG or the Uncharted series.

Although the map packs and DLC to feel like a rip off after buying the thing, miss the days when you would just download and add it to the rotation whatever the server was playing.

If I wanted it I'd get it on PC. I haven't had the urge to immediately do it. I find war shooters to be kind of mindless. I play BF4 sometimes and ask myself why everytime. I feel like it's the same reason why I would play Flappy Bird.

I can't say people are missing out as I don't know what everyone's gaming preferences are. However, I would say that TitanFall is an extremely fun game that trumps what's currently on PS4 in terms of MP based on the limited time (just got an X1 last week) I've spent with it. For my MP fix i've personally been splitting my time between Killzone Shadow Fall and TitanFall with a little BF4 sprinkled in for good measure.

Personally, no I don't feel I'm missing out. I could get it for PC but to be honest, I'm not that interested in MP shooters anymore. But I'm guessing plenty of ps4 owners will feel the opposite.

I don't miss it either. I think it looks like a fun mp but I could never buy a exclusively mp type game. For one.if there are problems with server either sluggish or completely down then you can't play. Even if they didn't create a storyline they should at least make the game play offline by yourself or split screen. We will get titan fall 2 which should have the full game(on and offline with or without a story).
