Nothing really, Exept it might be scratched or not as good condition, But the PS3 will sooner or later get scratched. But you can just save up 10$ more and get a brand new PS3.

but then i need the 30 extra bucks. =\
i just wanna get the system as soon as possible, i did the checkout on gamestop, and it comes out to $386.98, with overnight shipping.
You are going to regret buying a refurbished console. If you are only $30 short, why don't you wait and save up for a new one?
Refurbished consoles are also not covered by the Sony warranty.
buyers beware. theres a reason why these console got sent in in the first place. just get a new one.FreshDimSum
Thats very true. Dont rush into it, just save the extra money. It probably only has a 90 day warranty through GS. After that you will be out of luck if you have a problem.
In the past I have gotten some products that were referb's and they worked as good, sometimes better than the new products. When it comes to elecrtonics if it's a Sony refurb many times it comes with the same warranty as a new system. I have gotten automotive computors a few years ago that had a lifetime warranty on them and they worked and lasted better than the new ones did (they used a beefed up part on the circuit board over what it came with).
But if it's a refurb from a unknown third party then buyer beware means a lot.
