One 2 player free roam game is Saints Row 2. Saints Row 2 is like Grand Theft Auto in many ways but in my opinion way more fun. In Saints Row 2 there is a Co-op mode which allows you and a friend to play together. Plus with the free roam you can do just about anything. You could be out running the police and next minute sky diving off the tallest building you can find with your airplane. Not to mention there is a great story mode.
Do you on-line or on the same console? I think Borderlands is free roam too, (I bought it but haven't openned it as yet.) Can someone confirm that it is free roam?
