I already have Warhawk. Are there any other PS3 games with 2 player vertical splitscreen competitive(versus) mode and 3rd person view which are offline?
I don't think there are any 3rd person split screen offline games. For first person I think cod4 and r:fom have offline matches. Both are vertical split screen.

You know why. Because there are NONE offline death match game in third person view that is offline/splitscreen. There are plenty of FPS though. You are wrong. Both "Warhawk" and "The Club" have third person competitive vertical splitscreen offline. I already have "Warhawk", and today I bought "The Club". "Warhawk" is awesome and "The Club" is a really good game too.
yeah the Club is a great little game...feels like an arcade shooter, good learning curve and plenty of replay value....the online is pretty killer though, gets a bit frustrating sometimes and feels like you are a newb sometimes like COD4 online I guess...

how's the 4 player splitscreen? what type of modes r there I havent got into 4 player split screen but Iwould imagine it is the same a 2 player- team death, death, individual points .....all the usuals I dig it
