and weapons or magic they're really weak to? i'm a soldier class btw who can remember 3 spells

Use the warding spell if you have it, it makes wonders. Warding + Light weapon ( or cursed weapon ) = pwnage.

mages can dispatch them pretty easily. you can take them down with a bow and the thief's ring quickly too. the reason they normally take so much damage is their shields. if they dont see you, you can easily hit their softer areas. just stick them once and run off so the knight loses interest and turns around, then hit them in the back and repeat.

Let him die, but make sure that you have enough space to carry his very heavy armor ( 58 units I think )

If you have Soul Arrow or Soul Ray, just equip the Thieft Ring ang get close enough to target him, then just spam the arrows/rays, if he is too close just roll backwards or run to make enough room to fire 2 arrows/rays... normally, according to your magic power 1 or 2 soul arrows should stun him, and the rest him him directly.

Other option is to upgrade your shield so it consumes less Stamina to block (and for being able to block more powerful hits) and just take him on just like any other Blue Eye Knight. A Red Knight with spear+shield is a little trickier, but if you block his spear ram he is done for, just circle him and attack after he attacks... only counter, never take the initiative, and dont try to attack while he charges at you.

I killed my first Red EyeKnight at level 24... the one in fron of the mausoleum.

Get a Purple Flame Shield and Winged Spear. Then those guys are now your *****es. When there is more than one of them in a spot. Use divide and conquer tactics. Move forward very slowly and try to just get one to chase you. Then after he misses a lunge circle him and stab him in the back. It will do tons of damage.

I used the cheap hit-and-run method with Soul Arrow in my 1st play through as a Royal SL 1. Once you get the Thief's ring next to Ostrava, it is easy. Just go until you can target him...hit him and run back through the room. He will turn-around and go back to his original spot --- repeat. Cheap, but great Soul farming. Once you beat the Phalanx, this was a great way to level up early before tackling the other boards. You get about 4000 per trip if you go from the Phalanx stone, up the left stairs, kill all flamers, kill blue-knight and archers, kill red-night. Return to nexus and repeat. You can farm up to SL 20 in a hurry this way.
