I'd say Uncharted is kinda like the Prince of Persia series in the platform category. Ninja Gaiden might also be similar, just with a heavier emphasis on combat.
ya assassin's creed. it's more of a stealth game, not as much cool sword fighting. and you cant exactly run across walls, but its pretty fun climbing buildings and stealth killing guards. (and civillans ;) )

Smacking drunk people around, pushing beggars into water, watching them slowly drown. Riding a big four legged horse through a mass of feeble civillians... ah, the joy. :D
Assassin's Creed is nothing like Prince of Persia. it's more of a stealth game. there is no puzzle solving and the fighting is very basic. not to mention, PoP is actually, you know, fun. DMC is more like Prince of Persia in terms that there is both a deep combat system and some puzzle solving. Heavenly Sword is too, but that's more a game you should rent as it is quite short (but quite good). that's all I can think of as I haven't played many PS3 games.
