I will still buy the game for the PS3, its a great franchise and the games have always been top quality. However, I do feel a little angry that DMC4 is no longer an exclusive title. Seems Capcom is not really big on exclusive titles (also with RE5), or they prefer the Xbox360. I don't really blame them for jumping ships because the install base for the 360 is much much larger than the PS3's; therefore, if they allow multi-platform release, Capcom will make more money, which is what all companies go for.
But you know, having a pessimistic view and crying about it will not make the game exculsive to the PS3 again, or any other game. Having the game on multi-platforms can have its benefits; more people can experience an incredible game that you also enjoy. You can have great, complex conversations with Xbox users that also have the game, and you never know, they can help you whenever you get stuck (granted that you know people with an Xbox360), or maybe the game can help make new friends? Basically multi-platform releases can bring people together, like a community.
Though I'm not saying that all multi-platform releases are good, otherwise there'd be no reason to get a console over another. =)
I think who ever says it is not worth it anymore needs to grow up the game is great and the PS3 is the leading platform for this game because they built the PS3 version then port it to the 360, read the preview of the game they look the same.
The Company needs to make money, BECAUSE IF THEY DON'T they will be in trouble.
still getting it. i was pissed, i guess, about it coming to the 360,back then when things were kind of vague for the PS3's future.I was never pissed at the game per say, only at the fact that the PS3 lost an exclusive.
But to still feel bitter about this? that's ridiculous. let's just move on tc. Was it betrayal by capcom? emotionally yes, but it was just a business decison, why not eat from two plates. i don't despise them for it, it's not worth it. plus this isn't the kind of game that would get watered down because it's a multiplat, it's gonna be a pretty short experience. but games like gta are gonna get down scaled, and that's something to be upset about, because it will not live up to it's potential. DMC will pass w/flying colors.
All in all, i think it's ok to feel angry or betrayed sometimes, even when it comes to games, but for it to sway your decision so much that it would kill your anticipation, and desire for the game, now that's a bit overly dramatic and in the end it's only going to be your loss when everyone else will be playing the game, i.e DMC4.
1 was great, 2 was horrible, 3 was pretty good, but also just plain weird.
I'll get 4 when it's 20 bucks.

its going to take long time for it to come down to 20 bucks. unless u got gamefly.....
Probably will buy it, as everything I've seen so far looks amazing. But I'll admit, I've never really gotten into the series (too many other PS2 goodies to play through).

I plan on getting it cuz its a great game and it will be a addition to my devil may cry colection. But every since it jumped ship I have less care for the game. Its a shame capcom did that.
i dont really care if it comes out to the 360 or not. I JUST WANNA PLAY IT REALLY REALLY BAYDLY.indongga
Same, DMC 3 went to PC too and nobody complaints. This gen game cost more to develop and sell slowlier in some cases, DMC 3 was not spectacular in sales to keep it exclusive as other games were.
Ive got both a PS3 and a 360 so I could care less that its ported over to the 360.
Ill see if reviews point out notable differences between the two versions, and if there are not, Ill probably be picking up the PS3 version because thats what Im used to for DMC, it would feel way too awkward on a 360 controller!
I cant imagine someone not buying this most likely amazing game, just because capcom has it for the 360 too, DMC is amazing, regardless of the console.
to bad its only going to use 9GBs of a 25GB Blu-ray disc... capcom is just money hungry. DuhQbnSiLo
lol "money hungry" aren't all developers money hungry, they don't make the games just for the heck of it. If that were so then why aren't games for free, games take millions of dollars to make and they'd like to make that back with a profit. Stop being short minded.
