Are you a Fan of PS 3 HD Classics ?

I know i love PS 3 HD Classics and purchase each and every of them ( for Nostalgic Reasons as i loved my PS 2 as well )

God of War Collection , Sly Trilogy HD , Prince of persia Trilogy HD , Tomb Raider Trilogy HD .

Can't wait for ,

Splinter Cell Trilogy HD , Resident Evil 4 HD , Ico Collection ( Shame it got Delayed :( ) .

Now we all need is METAL GEAR SOLID Trilogy HD announcement from Hideo Kojima to make my Day .

I'd rather have a PS2 store on PSN with all the PS2 titles, with no trophies and without the HD remastering at a cheaper price, So I can pick up some games I've missed out on. But i doubt it will happen.Homicide___

Seeing SONY even removing backwards compatibility from PS 3 i don't think they'll introduce a PS 2 store on PSN . I guess they'll simply add more PS one titles and PS 2 HD remakes from time to time .

Ahhh well, at first i was very angry with SONY ... But now i'm happy as a peach getting my hands on God of War Collection and upcoming Resident Evil 4 to be enjoyed on HD . Last wish'll be Metal Gear Solid Trilogy if its possible :)

Bought most of them for much less than what it would have cost me to buy the PS2 versions seprately.

It's great that they're available but I've never bought one. At least not yet. I dunno, too many new games coming out - I don't have any time to play the old ones again.

I pretty much like them better in HD and with trophies, as I bought my PS2 just 3 years ago and didn't really get a chance to play new games than I already knew about like Kingdom Hearts or any Sonic title. I've gotten' my hands on God of War Collection, Sly Collection, and Prince of Persia Trilogy 3D and I'm looking forward to more. =)

I like them So far I own The Sly Collection, Tomb Raider Trilogy and God of War Collection. I'm hoping I can get Prince of Persia Trilogy this weekend, and I'll be getting The Team Ico Collection and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Trilogy too. What is funny though is I think I paidthe same price or morefor Tomb Raider Underworld on Nintendo Wii and got the collection cheaper. I also already own Sly 1(On PS2), Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell and The three Prince of Persia( These 4 I have on Nintendo Gamecube)games, but getting them anyway.

I like the HD collections. They give players a chance to play games they missed out on.

tomb raider trilogy isnt really a classics collection...

legends was the only classic...anniversary and underwolrd were both released this gen and in HD on the 360.

I picked up GOW collection for $19.99 and Sly for $19.99. I guarantee you they'd charge at least $9.99 per game on PSN, and I think the precedent is actually $14.99. PSOne classics even go for $5.99 for the most part, so I think if they did straight up "rom's" of PS2 games that they'd probably be at least 9.99 each game even if they didn't include trophies or a remastering. So I'd much rather have a remaster job with the prospects of picking up all 3 games for $19.99 as per the Sly collection. That's the price I'm watching out for on Tomb Raider and Splinter Cell as well.

That being said not anywhere close to every game will ever be remastered, so in those cases maybe they can just release some straight up ports. However I don't really want them to "go there" yet because I have a feeling once they start selling "unimproved" games that they would just no longer bother with HD remasters at all, so if they see money to be made easily maybe some games that would otherwise be remastered would just get a lazy straight-up port with no improvements.

I've got the GoW collection and just picked up the Prince of Persia Trilogy. I'm looking forward to ICO and Shadow of the Collossus as well when they finally release.

Yes, I like HD classics, but at the same time ,I also like backwards compatibilty. Sony should continue to remaster more PS3 games and release a emulator software for those with big stacks of PS2 games.

The HD classics I want it:

-Jak and Daxter

-Kingdom Hearts

-Ratchet and Clank

-Final Fantasy(10,10-2 and 12)

-Metal Gear Solid collection (with the first one being the Gamecube version)

I played all those games on the ps2 so naturally I think their resources can be better spent on something else.
