Release dates always disagree or contradict each other. When is this available in-store for regular purchase at like "Gamestop?" I am definitely buying this.
Definitely going to pick it up in a week or so. It is the first racing game (probably since Road Rash on Genesis) that I have gotten excitied for in years, because it just is not going to be your "typical" racer. The whole off road concept, along with the killer graphics and crashes sold me completely on this one.
no, because I'm an RPG/football/shooter/good platformer (on console at least) game guy. I've only bought 2 or 3 games in my lifetime like motorstorm, but from what I hear it's gonna be sick for people that like that sorta thing so enjoy. Meanwhile I have to wait till some company, besides and probably before square enix, makes me run to the store and purchase a sick rpg for my sleek and pretty ps3 :(.
I am but as far as ratings for it go, I'm not expecting anything above an 8.5 from gamespot and for the first time (ever) I will probably agree with them. I heard this game doesnt have offline multiplayer which is a HUGE disappointment. Usually having one thing wrong with a game shouldnt take this much out of a rating but that is really a big feature many people want. 8.5 is my prediction from gamespot and I wont say "lack of maps" because I know they can release downlaods for them in the future.

Hey Sigmund Freud, this is a PS3 forum asking if people are going to buy one of numerous games coming out in march. Why are you going to point out the obvious. Of course it's going to be bias. But it would be a bit odd to take this poll to the xbox 360 forum. Perhaps that's what you expected?
Will be fun but entirely too overhyped and it's one game mode and less than impressive ammount of tracks keeps it a rent for me. Hopefully a fun rental for 2 weeks.
The demo is okay. what is going to be so revolutionary about this game? what is going to make it stand out and worth the $60? What will make it different from every other racing off road game. Extreme 4x4, off road fury, here we come?
After all the crap being said about it I'd better support it cause if Sony haters had their way we would never see games like MotorStorm again. Just a bunch of soulless games like on the 360.
I won't be buying it due to the lack of offline multiplayer. This could have been a great 4-player offline game in addition to the on-line stuff. Those of us with rl friends that visit and/or children who like to play are getting left out with all these lazy single player offerings.
Ill be getting it seeing as ive played the demo over and over and still seem to have fun with it. Still wondering if its actually going to be in any stores tomorrow or if I have to wait untill wednesday.
