I basically am deciding on getting uncharted 2 only for multiplayer. Yes I know the single player story is great but nowa days I only buy games for multiplayer and rent the ones that are singe player unless its like Oblivion or Uncharted 2 which you can play the game for like 100+ hours. I basically want to know would you buy this game if it only had multiplayer or are you buying it for just single player? And If you agreed on multiplayer is it good enough to last for at least 3-4 months of fun or does it look like after a few other good multiplayer games come out you would be done with it?

There IS a multiplayer demo. With a crap ton of options. Go play that. Formulate your opinion based on what you see and experience. Rejoice.

Both. Why would I pay $60 for a game if I'm only going to play half of what it offers?

If you buy a game only for the online, it means the game sucks. *cough* CALL OF DUTY...

Im buying Uncharted 2 for only the Singleplayer Killzone 2 and Call of Duty are worlds apart. I bought both games for Single player and i ended up clocking well over 200 hours into K2 online ( and i dont even play online much ) and 30+ hours in the singleplayer. I played COD4 online for 18 hours and was bored to tears, and 12 hours in singleplayer. Killzone 2 was simply just more apealing to me: Dark gritty setting, Controls had a great heavy feel and a deep story ( unfortunately the story is not told very well in the game but if you read it up its pretty epic ) At the end of the day we are all different, we all enjoy different games and we all have opinions.

Both, but I must say that the multiplayer is more of an incentive.

After playing Deathmatches......Im not really feally it that much....Doesnt feel like a serious deathmatch type game due to how many bullets it takes to kill someone, more of a just running around having fun type???

Coop should be awesome,,,,Single should be great.......

single player obviously. The multiplayer is a bit of a concern to me as it may make the single player not be as good as it should be. A perfect example of this is Resistance 2

Single player sounds more fun anyway. Frags matches are better when the gameplay is FPS, not TPS.

Don't take offence, but thats ridiculous. I would be glad if games only had single player. Multiplayer is nothing special on Uncharted 2 anyway. I'm glad I'm not you

All about the single player for me. Multi-player is ok, but I actually get more replay value from a great single player campaign rather than multi-player. I do like co-op mode though. It's kind of like single player, but just with a friend is all.

Wow people like you ruin gaming and make devs think that everyone thinks the way you think so they all try to cram multiplayer into there games. Go jump off a ledge ;) Also you cant play Uncharted 2 for 100+ hours unless you replay the game 8-10 times.

I bought it for single player but I like both. I'm not one of those anti-online multiplayer people. I prefer a great single player but some act like you can't have both. A good multi is a bonus. Perhaps it's because I'm one of those Quake 2/3, UT99/04 players.

I will buy it for both, what kind of person spends 59 dollars just to get half of the game content? if you want an online game get wow or CS, but dont spend your money on a game which has MP and SP just to play one of them (except if you are only gonna play SP, because not everyone has/like MP)

Both. The multiplayer is quite addicting.
