Well I am gald your getting a PS3...having both systems is great...I to own both the 360 and PS3...and I cant say that I am emotionally attached to it...I like it...I think it looks nice....

The PS3 looks better in black than most girls do haha. If you call needing to clean it off everytime i see a little bit of dust or smudging then yes im attached.

I dunno man, I'm no super-nerd but I got seriously attached to my old Xbox, it was a moody b1tch but there was love there. I was very sad to see it go. And heck, if people couldn't get attached to inanimate objects the stuffed animal industry would tank. I'm quickly growing very close to my 360 despite it being a white piece of plastic and I see a long and beautiful relationship in our future. But I'm not close to my PS3 as I don't have one. And yes, I have a girlfriend (hard to believe, I know, trust me I do...)

Ill proberly get a 360 in 2008 but i doubt ill be attached to that asmuch ... it'll be like my PS2 was -- anyone can mess around with the console cause if u break the hardware ill just get it replaced -- but they better not do anything to damage my games !
yes, I love mine. I keep a plastic sheet on it as a veil at night to protect it from dust, and in the morning, I pull the cover off really fast for dramatic effect and I go "HALLELUYAH!"
You couldn't pay me over $1,000 in profit for my ps3 because it's knowing what you went through to get this beautiful piece of hardware. I went through a living hell to get it on launch day and with the bad news on cuts console cuts, EB employees stealing ps3s, and worrying about someone robbing the EB I pre ordered it at. Eventhough I had it pre ordered, I prayed to God to get it in my hands when it came out without any bullcrap in the process.....he didn't let me down. On Nov 17th, I was as happy as a 7 year old opening his Christmas present. It has a lot of sentimetal value in my mind. I wouldn't even sell my Ricky Bobby BD; which came with ps3, to my friend who wanted it for $15.....and I didn't even care about the movie at all, so yea...I think I'm emotionally attached to mine.
Well I'm not sure. Sure I'd swat someone's head off if the messed with it or broke it (mainly cause of the price tag) but you'd have to define "emotionally attached"
Sure I'd love my PS3, cause I'm excited about getting one (like I would any system I want) But if you mean like, emotionally attached as replacing anybody (like a family member or a girlfriend) then no.
