My friends and I have always been really competitive about Street Fighter. We've been playing SFIV in the local arcade recently and it's great. I pre-ordered the game and the TE stick and then bought a 33" showcase arcade cabinet and ripped the board out in order to throw my PS3 inside. It's going to be crazy, I can't wait.
Preordered the game, tried to get collector's edition but my local EB ran out of CE preorders. They said they'll phone the people who preordered the normal editions to upgrade if they by chance get more CE's.

That sounds like an awesome setup. I'm not a huge fighting game fan so I don't really plan on getting SFIV but if it gets good reviews I'll consider picking it up.
I hesitated on the regular version and the CE version quite a bit...but with the bluray and the figure i decided i couldnt pass it up...
Im still concerned about the DLC... especially with the new pricing structure Capcom just released...but.. whatever.. ill probably still get all of the costumes even if i "double buy" the ones i get for free... ::shrug::
when SFIV hits we should totally get a Gamespot PS3 Tourny going on! I hear theres a couple new modes that allow for tourny type match setups.. should be neat to try.
Have to say yeah. I'm honestly looking more forward to this game than any other coming out this year, including K2, which I personally think will be another fps.
Yep, just regular edition on release day. Can't justify the extra $20 on the CE even though I am very excited about this game. Me and my friends used to have Street Fighter 2 Turbo tournaments on the SNES all the time so I have a lot of good memories from this series. It's amazing to me that I'm still basically playing the same games that I played what, 15 years ago.
I'm really gonna have to give it some thought, mostly because of KZ2. I grew up playing Street Fighter, and would love to get 4, but it's a very slight second behind KZ. If I can afford both, I'll get both, but if I can only stretch to one, I don't think it'll be this.
explain ok if you didn't know if if wern't for street fighter there would be no tekken mortal kombat fatal fury or any other fighter this is the grandaddy of all fighters man
