Are they not making any more games for the PS2? If that's not the case, and they still release great games fo the PS2, then I'm still buying. :) A lot of good RPGs are out there and other genres too.

Yes I will. A game is a game, like you won't find Resident Evil 4 for the PS3. So, yes again, I will buy them and play. For the record, I haven't had a PS2, so I've missed all the good games. Time to catch up.

How many thousands of PS2 games are there? I own around 30 PS2 titles, and I can list off about ten more I'd like to have just off the top of my head.

i know of atleast one new PS2 game ill be buyin and thats Fire Pro Wrestling Returns, and ill also be goin back and buyin some of the games ive missed out on that still interest me ( Ultimate Spiderman, Chaos Legion, Shadow Of the Colosus(sp), Scarface(might get that for xbox instead as thats where i first played it), etc, etc)

If I see a PS1 or PS2 game that looks good I will be getting it, I was checking the number of titles that are just on the PS2 and I think there was something like 2700 titles just on the PS2 alone. I haven't been very involved with gameing until about two years ago. So there may be a number of games that I would enjoy from the past.

Unless they release GOD 3 on PS2, then no. My PS3 is mainly for PS3 games and Blu Ray movies in 1080p.8)

I've bought quite a few since getting my PS3. Especially for the Kids. There is really no need to release a Dance Dance Revolution for PS3 when the PS2 version works fine and those games never have much in terms of graphics anyways. The only one I bought for myself was one of the Classic compilations to replace the XBox1 version that did not work on my 360.

i've bought 3 games for the PS2 since I got my PS3.

Black- I did play it alot when it arrived, wasn't my own copy though, and got it pretty cheap.
MGS2 Substance - I wanted to play through vr missions and all the extras that this game offers, got this one pretty cheap too.
MGS3 Subsistence - Same as with Black, wasn't my copy and it was only Snake Eater version, so not with all the extras.

I am pretty much done with my PS2 and the games the last one i bought was God of War2. It is all PS3 games now.

Yes I have already bought FF12 for my ps3. I was gonna look for shadow of the C when I get some free time after beating the games I have been working on.

I've still bought more PS2 games than I have PS3 games. For the next few weeks it's going to be all PS2 gaming for me so I can get through the stack I have and trade them all in toward an Elite 360 (I know, I know, but at least I'm buying that one last out of PS3 Wii PSP and DS)

still buy old ps2 gamesd that I have missed. The last new PS2 game I bought was FFXII when it came out last year, but I have bouight about 6 or 7 other ps2 games since the ps3 launch and I will get the expansion for FFXI in 2 weeks.

Well, the PS2 still has the greater number of great games out there, regardless if none are "upcoming" and the PS3 is out. Like I still haven't picked up FFXII or GoW 1 & 2. So yeah I'll still be buying Ps2 games.
